not flavor it much but i think it
made the cake really really soft.

make it vegan anymore... whipped

You could replace the pastry
cream with
coconut whipped
cream (so delicious
makes a premade version) but it will
not be as rich in flavor as if you use the vanilla pastry
cream, and the end result will be a bit drier.
Spoonfuls of fluffy whipped
cream layered with berries might
not sound like anything new until we tell you that the whipped
cream is
made entirely from
coconut milk — no added sugar and no dairy.

made this tonight with 1 cup
coconut milk, 2 cups full
cream milk & 1 cup skim milk & it was EXTREMELY creamy;) Delicious but I would recommend anyone who doesn't like that marzipan flavour to leave out the almond - I have essence rather than extract & it's just awful for some reason!
