I was inspired to try making my own vegan
naan after seeing this recipe posted
on the blog Bacon is Not an Herb a while back.
I still spooned
on a good ratio of pesto to
naan and it sits so well as a base for the rest of the toppings.
Place the
naan pizzas
on the prepared baking tray and bake in the oven for 6 minutes, until lightly browned
on the bottom.
On days where I don't have the will or time to make homemade dough,
naan bread is the perfect sub.
Spread your favorite basil pesto
on two store - bought whole wheat
naan breads (I can find these ones by Stonefire at my local supermarket), top with cooked, shredded chicken (use leftovers or rotisserie), canned artichoke hearts, cheese and olives.
