Big
name players look towards the manager as a decisive factor when signing, take Ozil's comments when he signed as an example.
Not exact matches
Reid Hoffman as my utility
player, because I
look at a utility
player as an unsung hero, and you never hear his
name outside of people in the know and people in the Valley, but he is everything that Zuckerberg is.
Strange one isn't it — I said on a previous thread how unusual it was for Wenger to respond clearly to a specific question on a
named player - «we are not
looking at Vidal» — but took that to mean we are almost definitely not in for Vidal.
While it sounds simplistic, based on the FAs they signed, it
looks like they are more concerned with getting «football
players» instead of big
names.
There is still undoubtedly a lot to
look forward to next summer with star
names and top teams all making it to Russia, but the tournament is certainly worse off with these 11
players sat at home or on holiday while we all watch to see what enfolds.
For me, Evans is another glorified Sylvester (does that
name ring a bell), please, lets
look beyond the manunited waste products and get better and younger
players from Italy, Germany or even Greece who are more hungrier to the job bestowed upon them.
This year is no different then the previous transfer windows whereby Wenger panics at the 11th hour and tries to buy any
player from the basement bucket... You can youtube any
player (search...
players names + goals) and you'll see a compilation that will make that
player look to be on the same level as the best strikers around.

players PSG might have to sell to get Neymar and I started
looking at all the
players that they might offload and one
name stood out to me — Javier Pastore.
The Gunners are also
looking to enter talks with big -
name stars Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil in an attempt to keep the duo, however there seems to be little chance of either
player signing a new deal at the Emirates as per the Telegraph, with the club also unwilling to up their recent offers for the pair, which have both been rejected.
With Alexis now as the main star in a very strong
looking squad, when fit, Wenger might well find his job of persuading big
name players to head to north London a whole lot easier.
When your team aren't playing well you
look to the big
name players to save you, but Ozil seems to play at the same standards as the team rather than of world class standard.
How terribly sad... we have fallen so far that we find ourselves in the ridiculous position of propping up the oft - injured and rarely inspirational Jack Wiltshire... what's next, extending Walcott, Welbeck and Ramsey... can't you see that these
players have nothing to do with winning and all to do with providing recognizable
names to the plastic fans who frequent our overgrown library of a stadium... it's high time we rid this club of one of the worlds most incompetent and unsuccessful owners (
look it up) and our fragile and spineless manager (much like our club) who can't bring in the best talent because he knows he can't live up to expectations that come with
players of that ilk... think about it, he couldn't even handle Sanchez, who was largely a periphery character in Barcelona
he will ow need a work permit plus it
looks like Wenger is no longer interested in African
players, He learnt hsi lessons with Adebayor, Toure, Gervinho, Eboue and Lauren just to
name a few
I just don't know what's wrong with Arsenal fans.Sure I get it as humans we all have our preferences but things start to
look funny when we begin to bash and criticize a
player like he's useless.I just don't get why Arsenal fans do nt want Vardy.Oh is it because he's not world class, he's English, He's not a big
name, he's a fairy tale, you feel all he does is run, he's not got a better history in footballing until now or you feel Giroud is better or what?I really pity Arsenal fans honestly.I would've taken Jamie Vardy in a heartbeat.Sure he's not the best option out there. But I'll say this and say it again it's not a world class striker that wins you a league but rather just increases your chances of winning the league. If you've watched Arsenal clearly from the time since Henry left you realized that it's more of not being able to find a clinical striker.Eduardo was not a already a finished product when he started his career here yet he was clinical and was on world class form until injury. What Arsenal need now is a world class finisher if they can't get a world class striker.
I do not think he is the only CF who can do the job for us, it was nice to think we would
look to resolve the CF issue quick and getting a

name...

looking players includes
names like Santiago Vergini, Erik Pieters, Nacer Chadli and Ben Foster, while the ugliest eleven includes Angel Di Maria, Mario Balotelli, Joelon Lescott and Sadio Mane.
In the midfield, (including RWB & LWB) we have a whole bunch of tweeners... none offer the full package, none make sense in our manager's current favourite formation, except for Sead on the left and Ox on the right, and all of them have never shown any consistency for more than a heartbeat... Sead, who I'm including in this category because of our present formation,
looks like a positive addition, minus his occasional brain farts, but I would rather see what he could do in a back 4 before making my mind up... Ox, who has never played better, which isn't saying much considering his largely underwhelming play in previous seasons, seems to have found a home in this new formation; unfortunately, can we really expect this oft - injured
player to handle the taxing duties that come with said position over the long haul, not to mention, it
looks like he has no intention of staying... Ramsey has relied on the empathy that stems from his gruesome injury years ago and the excitement that was generated a few years back when he finally seemed to put in altogether, but on the whole he has been a big disappointment (neither he nor the Ox have scored enough to warrant a regular spot)... Wiltshire should be put on a weekly contract then played until he suffers his first injury, if and when that occurs he should be shipped - out and no one should very be allowed to say his
name on club grounds ever again... Elnehy & Coq are average
players who couldn't make any of the top 7 teams currently in the EPL... both have showed some great energy on the pitch, but neither are top quality and no good team can afford to have that many average
players on their bench playing the same position, especially with Coq's injury history / discipline concerns and Elheny's headless chicken tendencies... as for Xhaka, his tenure here so far has been incredibly underwhelming... we know he has some skills to provide the long ball but his defensive work is piss poor and he gives the ball away too cheaply and far too often... finally, the enigma himself, Ozil, so much skill with his left foot but his presence has been more frustrating than uplifting... in many respects his failure has been directly related to the failure of this club to provide him with the necessary
players up front, minus Sanchez of course, and unless something drastic happens very soon his legacy will be largely a negative one (much like Wenger's)
The Spanish giants could now be set to let more big
names go this January, with the club seemingly
looking to rebuild as they consider the futures of

«
Name ONE good game Sanchez played (except the MU one where he had ONE half good, not even brilliant)» Do you really
look like someone who appreciates our
players?
I just can't believe that we have become a joke we always start the season well then have a bumpy December and by the time Feb comes our form has taken a dip and we get kicked out of all competitions except for that valuable top 4 that the board loves so much... ultimately if Arsenal want to compete again we need changes from the bottom up... Kroenke and his board need to go cause clearly for them profits matter more than trophies... Wenger needs to go for his lack of tactical naus guy has been using the same fornation since I was in high school and I'm doing my honours in accounting now... our medical team must all go our
players always get injured and they never come back in time (take a
look at Santi)
players like Coquelin Theo Mesut Gabriel Gibbs Giroud just to
name a few need to go they're just not good enough seriously these
players lack fight tactical Discipline and tactical awareness... at the end of the day change needs to happen things can't keep going like this for us....
I am not trying to absolve Arsene Wenger of all the blame for what
looks like being a most frustrating Premier League title challenge for Arsenal this season, as the unfancied Leicester seem to be the ones that will make the most of the poor performances of the usual suspects Man City, Chelsea and Man United, but you have to admit that the Frenchman has had some pretty rotten luck with injury problems once again, while Claudio Ranieri has been able to
name his strongest 11
players in almost every match.
I would like to tell arsenal fan that the transfer window is not arsenal's problem.Let explain what is in my mind.We need to reinforce our team but we need to think in the future that most of the high class
players are going to refuse signing for arsenal fc because of Mr Wenger's philosophy. It
looks like arsenal becomes cemetery of
players.How many
players came in and left because of performance, became good
players out of arsenal. We need to accept all of the transformation Mr wenger brings in arsenal but now it does not work. Why??? because lack of tactics, strategies and pretending best
players for Mr wenger mind but in reality those
players do not get standard of best player.Mr wenger wants to prove everybody that he is wright that
players who are calling by wenger are best.I means Mr wenger is the only one can see all matter in good position or bad.He is wrong by thinking this way.He does not like criticism.he is the mind of arsenal.Everything he can say or defend is wright.Think about morrinho comments about arsenal!!!! Why he likes to be arsenal coach!!!! One thing I want to say about arsenal
players, I think everybody watch arsenal games. We have got short mind
players who play two good games and the rest shameless. They are working hard in the training ground for catching Mr wenger's mind to let them play; what is behind their (
players) mind to be the most regular
players.Those
players have no vision even ambition; they are never becoming high class and their carriers are going to finish in arsenal after arsenal we are going to see them playing for championship. They do not care to become legend as Ian wright, Vierra, Berckam, piress, Henry... What is the big behind their mind to use wenger
name to be selected in national team. They are not able to face different leagues in the world.

Just read the article by «she wore a yellow ribbon «it was brilliant about the demented so called arsenal fans celebrating when we lost to Watford over the weekend what a bunch of losers and on constructive criticism it is now clear more than ever we need a director of football who sees through the fans eyes from the stands what most arsenal fans are angst about especially some
player's lack the angry element of the premiership,
look at Newcastle with benitez in charge and most of the
players are hardly household
names, Arsenal foreeeever!!!

Can someone
name any Arsenal
player who went into another team and
looked irreplaceable?Just
look at how Arsenal fans are hyping this guy.I won't blame you people though.People are even saying we need up to three
players to replace him.I guess it will take about seven to eight to replace Messi or Ronaldo then. We've become so bad it's almost as if we've lost our big club mentality and way of thinking. We are behaving like the smaller teams.

So in a way you could say that Arsenal's chances of completing this big
name signing are
looking brighter, while on the other hand we have to ask whether the notoriously careful Arsene Wenger would be willing to pay around # 70 million for a
