already named some in previous article, and they would've been cheap too like Lavezzi and Huntelaar, for first team football for Lavezzi and UCL football for Huntelaar.

already tied up in contracts which only then leaves the «Nearly Rans» or footballing journeymen who just want to finish their illustrious careers earning a big wage based on their previous conquests whilst still playing at the highest level.

I believe Arsenal has a team of scouts who are responsible to identify «proper
striker» in
names, what I can see is that Giroud / walcott / Welback are not in that definition (The later two may have a prospect)... The definition of «proper
striker» depends on the team class and ambition, Austin is a proper
striker for QPR the same as Suarez now is a proper
striker for Barca... Giroud is a proper
striker for Arsenal being 3rd / 4th in England... I think you
already know the definition
