rumours are a little thin on the ground at the moment with Arsene Wenger over at the Euros as usual, so I thought I'd have a little peek at what the bookies are forecasting the chances of the Gunners landing any big
name strikers if the Jamie Vardy saga fails to come to fruition.
The
rumour mill will undoubtedly throw out a whole host of
names that Arsenal could sign during the summer (Zlatan Ibrahimovic being one that stands out), but while Wenger's eye for a bargain may have deserted him, most people would agree that our chances of success next season would be significant improved by the arrival of a top quality centre - back, holding midfielder and proven goal - scoring
striker.
Or could the
rumours about a possible transfer away from the club be true and could the boss be waiting for this to be done before spending some of our millions on a really big
name striker?

There are still a lot of Arsenal transfer
rumours out there and a good proportion of them are linking us with various big
name strikers around Europe.
Wolves goalkeeper Carl Ikeme, QPR midfielder Karl Henry and current Sunderland
striker Steven Fletcher have also been
named as victims, while England internationals Gareth Barry and Adam Johnson are also
rumoured to have been involved.
