yet... when i get sick... i get maybe an hour
nap and then i either have to help with the kids, or do stuff around the house or go to
work... the worse time i was ever sick that i can remember is when i was 8 months preggo with my 2nd, i was already
feeling like crap my whole pregnancy, i was high risk so i was seeing the dr twice a week (3 hour appts... lame) and i got some kinda bug, well my hubby still made me help with the kids, and the needy dog and everything else around the house... preggo... sick... then he got sick... and was dying lol.
-- the mum guilt, the sleep deprivation but also
feeling like a boss when the the synchronised
naps work out right!
And there's just so much going on at that age that makes it a tough, tough time — they don't really
nap yet, their nighttime sleep is falling apart (thank you 4 - month sleep regression), you may be back at
work or seriously wondering what made you decide not to go back to
work and either way it screws with your head, you probably haven't lost the baby weight yet and don't
feel sexy but then there's Scary Spice doing the cha - cha looking
like a brick house, and your baby is probably not as fat as your doctor wants him or her to be, and it all just sucks.
Whether you want to do something that will advance your career once you return to
work, something that you find interesting and gain new skills from, or something that can even bring in some extra money, putting the hours in your schedule when your child is
napping, watching cartoons or playing by themselves to
work can also make you
feel less
like all you do is housework and playing with a toddler — preserving your sanity!
I wasn't able to
nap at
work, and I
felt like I had no energy.

feel like dropping the 3rd
nap would not
work at this point, but does it seem
like I need to and just spend a few days as an entertainer?
