We went during Charlotte's
nap time so that she would sleep the whole time, and it really worked out perfectly (you can read about her schedule here).
It's easier said than done, but coordinating
nap time so that both your infant and your toddler are asleep at the same time can go a long way toward helping save mom or dad's sanity during the day.
But why do kids fight
nap time so much?
Lunch fell during
her nap time so one of us would go to the buffet and load up the Tupperware for later.

so much more dangerous than falling down and hitting their heads as toddlers.

so it will come as no surprise that the online shoe giant offers gym memberships,
nap rooms, and fitness classes.
Both
times (once the panic subsided) I just wanted it over with quickly
so I could move on to the dirt
nap that will free me from all the shtty obligations I have on this crappy dirt ball planet of ours.

Now I have plenty of energy,
so when
nap time comes, I can get something done and feel productive.

We had emailed ahead of
time requesting a terrace (noting we had small children,
so we were really hoping to get one as we have
naps etc.).
He only takes short cat
naps during the day, which drives me crazy at
times, but he sleeps 8 - 10 hours at night in bed with me,
so I can't complain!
You can't get anything done if you're a complete zombie,
so make sleep a priority and don't always spend that precious
nap -
time trying to keep the house spotless.
The 18 - month - old had a blast at the Duplo village, and would have spent more
time at the water park if he hadn't
napped so long in the afternoon heat.

time nap, it doesn't always go to plan.

nap time when everything goes nuts, my dog follows me around as I take the littles to cribs she goes and snuggles the olders for quiet
time I couldn't appreciate her more, her needs are a bowl filled a blanket lifted
so she can snuggle under with you and a door opened occasionally she is te easiest in this house can't imagine life with out her < 3 btw the last comment is the best LOL!
When it was
nap time we were home
so the children could have an uninterrupted
nap.
The expedition only costs a buck and who knows, maybe your mini trekkers will get
so worn out that they'll take a quality
nap after and give you some much needed grown up
time.
yet... when i get sick... i get maybe an hour
nap and then i either have to help with the kids, or do stuff around the house or go to work... the worse
time i was ever sick that i can remember is when i was 8 months preggo with my 2nd, i was already feeling like crap my whole pregnancy, i was high risk
so i was seeing the dr twice a week (3 hour appts... lame) and i got some kinda bug, well my hubby still made me help with the kids, and the needy dog and everything else around the house... preggo... sick... then he got sick... and was dying lol.
We had a lot of visitors the first few weeks,
so I didn't push for

I wait an hour to nurse
so obviously he can't have solids because he needs another
nap by the
time we finish and get diaper changed.

He goes to bed at about 7:15 and sleeps for about an hour and a half
so that puts him needing to wake up and not be fed for a while but his awake
time is
so short he starts bumping into getting ready for his next
nap.
I plan on waking the baby early
so that he can go down right after we get home, but then another
nap will be around the
time I need to pick the oldest up.

nap, 7 pm feed straight to bed, DF (try a different

but now she wont take good
naps through out the day, she goes to bed at the same
time and same dream feed but then she will get up at 2:30 am and then every hour after that until about 6:30 when we are up for the day, what do I do and why is she getting up
so much?
For example her wake
time is about 1 hr 15 minutes, she
naps for 45 minutes
so then I have 1 hour left before her feeding
time.
Starting around 5 - 6 pm his last «
nap» is always really short (30mins - ish)
so depending on when he wakes up then I feed him (anywhere between 6 - 6:30) then he has awake
time and then I feed him again before putting him back down around 8:30 - 9:30.
Until 2 hours later, he finally gets
so hungry that he eats, but by that
time, he is tired because it's
nap time, and falls asleep.
She was
so good and played by herself, now she cries when I walk away or cries when it's
nap time.
This environment has to be safe and tranquil,
so that the little ones can enjoy their sleep and
nap times.
When your husband takes the 3 - year - old to the park
so you can get some work done, the newborn refuses to sleep during her regularly scheduled
nap time... which is exactly what's happening to me right now!
I thought when Sears said 13 hours, he meant total sleep
time,
so that's 11 or
so hours at night and then a 2 hour
nap.
Total
nap amounts matter;
so does the
timing of those
naps.
My legs were sore from climbing our stairs
so many
times to deal with
naps, etc..
I find that the best way to do it is to find a flight that leaves 3o minutes or
so before
nap time.
Try to get them on a similar schedule
so you are feeding both babies at the same
time, changing them at the same
time, and putting them down for
naps at the same
time.
Work to make sure that your baby or toddler is
napping at strategic
times through - out the day, and that those
naps are long enough to be restorative but not
so long as to interfere with night sleep.
If
so, it's best to plan your party around
nap times if possible.

Nursing, changing diaper, changing spit - up clothes (baby's and yours), made a cup of tea, spent an hour trying to get in 10 minutes of Tummy
Time so the baby won't be a dolt, spent 40 minutes getting the baby down for a
nap which ended up lasting 20 minutes, made lunch and spilled half of it on the baby's head, clothing changes all around, nursing, found now - cold cup of untouched tea and drank it anyway, more nursing, baby falls asleep on you but wakes up if you try to move him
so you just stay slumped on the couch with one leg forward and the other bent uncomfortably under you because this kid needs to sleep or we'll all diiieeee, nursing, realize you forgot about the weekly mothers» meeting which was your only adult outing dammit and now who will be your friend?
