I imagined toddlers cutely toddling (never climbing or spilling) between afternoon
naps and bedtime stories.

We used to have a few of these spread through the day including an early morning read, a
story before
nap time, a
story while supper was cooking
and one or two (or three) at
bedtime.
They like waking up at the same time every day, they like
naps at the same time every day,
and they readily accept the routines we set for them like bath -
story - drink -
bedtime.
If your daughter wakes up in the middle of the night she may have to use the restroom or need to be changed sleeping in a soiled pamper or pull up runs a great
and high risk for unnecessary rashes that in turn in to yeast infection then your doctor will have to prescribe something like nystatin its a topical ointment that immediately solves the problem however a warm bath
bedtime story and a good healthy meal before bed should be a regular routine
and depending on age they should sleep comfortably through out the night but never neglect your child's basic needs because your hard up for a
nap or in need of sleep
Their deeper voices are well suited to
bedtime stories and their flatter chests can be a good spot for baby to take a
nap.
A consistent schedule (1 pm
nap, 8 pm
bedtime)
and routine (diaper change,
story, lullaby) is what worked for my LO.
Plus the kiddos will be up from their
naps soon (thank you Lord for blessing me with 2 hour nappers)
and I'm going to enjoy some QT until I break out the computer again post
bedtime stories.
