national animal welfare response teams are providing
assistance to
animal shelters.
Every May, the Ophthalmologists at PVSEC participate in the
National ACVO / StokesRx Service
Animal Event, which provides free ophthalmic screening exams for registered service
animals (law enforcement / detection
animals, guide and
assistance animals, etc.)
