More than 70 per cent of Australia's children and 91 per cent of young people are not meeting
the national physical activity recommendation of 60 minutes physical activity every day, according to a 2016 report by the AHPC.
The action guide includes best practices for promoting healthy eating and
physical activity for children from infancy through school age, based on current science, public health research, and
national recommendations and standards.
Key
