birth and caring, respectful nurses made it more possible and likely that I had positive and minimally invasive
birth experiences.
There is a plethora of labor books out there, but not all of them
support natural birth, especially home
birth.

At home I could control the environment — low, soft lighting; a limited number of people present and people that I trusted intimately; the opportunity to drink and eat if I needed sustenance for the work at hand; labor strategies that

It's so neat to have people like you who are so open about your emotions (the fears, defeated - ness, etc.) and still
support natural birth!

supports low risk, healthy moms birthing their babies at home with trained professionals like CPM's and CNM's) would allow moms who birthed through surgery to stay in the hospital longer and receive the one - on - one medical care that they so very much deserve.
I research and educated myself on
natural birth, and found myself a student midwife to help
support me.
