Perfect snack for a sweet tooth:) I followed the
recipe as you have it but found it a little tricky to get the dough to stay
in balls, so I added about 1/2 C of
natural peanut butter.
Keep
in mind this
recipe was made with my custom blend oats that included
natural peanut butter and black forest cake flavors with no added sweetener.
I made the exact
recipe but with a lil
Natural Peanut Butter added
in.
I would suggest adding a little more powdered sugar if you are using
natural peanut butter and reduce the salt
in the
recipe.
Last, while many baking
recipes ask you not to use a
natural peanut butter, it's actually okay
in this
recipe, so use whatever you have on hand.
One of my favorite parts of this
recipe is that the
natural oil
in the
peanut butter makes the cookie dough super easy to work with, unlike some of my other doughs which are super sticky before baking.
This
recipe calls for salted
natural peanut butter and a pinch of salt
in the oat mix, just because I like the sweet and salty combo.
