You'll use all the
necessary scuba equipment and a diving computer during your
open water dives: a buoyancy compensating jacket that holds your scuba tank, scuba regulator, a weight system, instrumentation to monitor depth and wetsuit.
The way this course works is that it completes about half of the full
Open Water course, allowing you to not only go on two actual
dives with our instructor, but also put in the coursework
necessary to work towards the full certification!
Our successful and long running PADI internship program takes you from a PADI Divemaster to a PADI
Open Water Scuba Instructor giving you both the qualifications and experience
necessary to function as
dive professional.
Do some research in an area on how and where you will run confined and
open water sessions, tide times if shore diving, or access to boats and
dive sites if
necessary.
We'll teach you all the
necessary skills to
dive in
open water all over the globe.
The skills we performed are referred to as confined
water 1 - 5 and because I was so comfortable doing them, we managed to do each skill
necessary for me to begin my
open water dives the following morning.
