When it comes to fuss - free dressing, long - line
shirts are an easy way to nail a smart - casual look, and there's a style out there for every shape —
if you've been blessed with extra curves on top then look for v -
necks with ruched empire - line busts.
Most of my nursing tanks have pretty thick straps (compared to a bra) and they are set closer together which means
if I want to put on a V -
neck or any wider necked
shirt over the top of it the ugly straps show.
If you don't mind pulling your breast up through the
neck of your
shirt (your breast will be more exposed that way, but seriously, people rarely notice!)
If you are nursing in a crew
neck t -
shirt or a similar top that needs to be pulled up from the bottom in order to nurse, you might prefer a traditional blanket in order to cover your stomach.
If you're able to find a dress
shirt in the store, put it on and find the perfect size for you which fits your frame and you can still fit it around the

if you add a tailored button down white dress

shirt, then you can cut it so that it sits under your hips, and a slit about a quarter going way up to the
neck.
Shift dresses or straight skirts make me look square, classic
shirts make me look butch (short

if the bust seam is placed correctly, capris only work
if they end between knee and calf at the slimmest place, and I have now learnt to wear a shorter skirt despite my age (46) so the slimmer knee area shows rather than ending at the chunky calf and upsetting the length proportions, sometimes over capris / leggings.

When you're in a crowded market trying to buy a few chotchkies for your friends and family, you have to lift your

Of course
if you are interviewing at a company with a more relaxed environment (many start - ups do not have a strict dress code) it may be more appropriate to go smart - casual (think chinos and an open -
