need a WR here... and Sutton would be great as a Marshall replacement... but cost too much.
Even with a great running game
you need some WRs capable of making big plays and right now TWill is holding someone's roster spot.

The PCs put the structure in place, all the
WR needs to do is run it.

need both but you can find talented
WRs in free agency for reasonably inexpensive.
Poe was a great signing, but we could have spent that money towards our positions of
need (secondary or
WR) and allowed Butler to assume the starting DT role.
And no, I do not consider T Smith the help our
WR group

need but you can get good ones that can catch and fit the system for relatively cheap.
I don't think the Bears are as good of a team without Meredith but I also don't think it's the end of the world and suddenly the Bears have an imminent

When Romo was at the helm he did the same thing, he could read the defense and audible the play that
needed to be run, his mistakes were often times the same mistakes we saw Dez and other
WRs get into (dropped balls, running with the ball loose (murray I am looking at you), and tipping the ball up in the air).
We now have a solid, diverse set of starting
WRs — size, speed, hands — and can afford to draft two
WRs on day two / three who don't
need to be immediate contributors.
That
needs to be fixed hopefully both on the TE side and the
WR side.
Without him, the Saints will
need to find production from other
WR's Lance Moore, Devery Henderson and Robert Meachum.
I just think we still have serious holes at LB and DL and OL that
need to be fixed before we go and grab another

They have 4 draft picks in the first 88 picks as well as 4 later picks to address additional
needs like Safety,
WR, OL, RB, DE.

need it their choice at DB (Oliver),
WR (Chark), Edge (Sweat), LB (Leonard).

WR / Edge — Ideally they
need to trade into the sweet spot of the draft (late 1 to mid 2) and get at least one of Wynn, Daniels, Oliver, Sutton, Sweat (if no Landry).
It may cost a 1st pick but we
need some help this year at

WR / TE) accelerating development through position group leader / mentors (Sherman, Richburg,
need more) taking weaknesses off the field (Hyde in the passing game, Kilgore, current starting G, roster deadwood) converting young talent into consistent reliable producers (most of the defensive starters and Garnett)

Additionally, I have no issue with the 49ers drafting a guy that would compete with Trent Taylor for snaps in the slot (the 49ers
need depth there), I just don't think Kirk is even close to a good choice to be that guy when compared to other slot
WRs the 49ers should be able to get in rounds 4 - 7.
Because of these limitations, he's going to
need to develop into a well above average reader & anticipator of plays and improve on his ability to physically dominate
WRs in their routes — like Richard Sherman was able to do after going to Seattle.
