The body of Christ can be the hands and feet of Jesus, speaking grace, truth and hope into our lives at times when we need it most.

We need grace both to believe, as our forebears did, that we really do not know our own nature, any more than we know God's nature, till taught by Scripture and to apply this truth to our own sexual nature in particular.

Subjectivity alone is not enough: itneeds to be healed and it needs to be enlightened by the grace - filled truth of Christ.

People need hope, people need grace and people need to hear the truth.

Christians need to address this moment with truth and grace.

First among them is the need for a vital ecclesial intellectual life and culture of grace as the context for knowledge of basic metaphysical truths about God, the human person, and the natural law.
