I was wondering if you could make small amounts of
nut butter quickly enough in your Magimix mini bowl (1,2 L) or if the chopped
nuts get stuck on the sides, and that you
need to scrape them off and... be a lot
more patient.
You would
need to replace it with other ingredients, you could try adding
more sunflower seeds or another
nut to get the same crunch!
I was already eating loads of coconut oil, flax oil, olive oil,
nuts and seeds, but my body
needed more.
Start basing
more meals around plant foods, veggies, fruit,
nuts and seeds and you'll find your
need for the grains (gluten free or not), will start to decrease.
I have used macadamia
nuts and they work really well, but you really
need to like the taste of macadamia
nuts because the taste as strong whereas with the cashews, it's a
more neutral flavor.
If I could eat

If you use smooth

need to add a little extra hemp seed / desiccated coconut to help hold the balls together as there may be
more liquid.
Pine
nuts can be very expensive, but I buy mine in bulk, and just get what I
need — no
more — so they really aren't too bad, and a little goes a long way.
As opposed to hazelnut butter, where you
need to use a food processor for a good few minutes to macerate the
nuts to release their oils, chestnuts grind to no

Since they really vary in size you may
need to add
more or less — after you pulse the dates and
nuts together in the food processor, take a pinch of the crust and taste it to see if it's sweet enough.
I used macadamia
nuts to gives a
more tropical feel, not to mention it has the highest omega 3 and lowest omega 6 ratio of fats out of all the
nuts... meaning they have
more of the healthy fats we
need, and less of the ones we already get too much of.
Depending on how long your
nuts and dates soaked, you may
need to add a bit
more water.
Add water or citrus to loosen if
needed - you want it to be
more like guacamole than
nut butter.

nuts from heat, and when they've cooled a bit, taste to see if you

more tasty, sugar - free snacks capable of enticing my fussy eater!
1/4 cup unflavoured whey protein 1/4 cup ground almonds (plus a bit extra, if you
need to dry out the mix later) 1tbsp high protein
nuts n
more white chocolate peanut butter 1tbsp coconut flour 1 - 2caps valencian orange oil (mine came from Asda) 1 - 2tbsp water (add a little at a time so that the mix doesn't get too wet & sticky) 7 drops vanilla flavdrops zest of half an orange 50g white chocolate 6 flaked almonds
1 medium - large zucchini, sliced into paper thin coins 2 small fennel bulbs, trimmed and shaved paper - thin 2/3 cup /.5 oz / 15g loosely chopped fresh dill 1/3 cup / 80 ml fresh lemon juice, plus
more if
needed 1/3 cup / 80 ml extra virgin olive oil, plus
more if
needed fine grain sea salt 4 or 5 generous handfuls arugula Honey, if
needed 1/2 cup / 2 oz / 60g pine
nuts, toasted (I used almonds) 1/3 cup / 2 oz / 60g / feta cheese, crumbled
Toss with 1/3 of the pine
nut dressing, adding
more as
needed - as I mention up above, you might have a bit extra.
Just add to it the pine
nuts, nutritional yeast, miso, and maybe only 1/2 teaspoon salt (taste it after blending and add
more if
needed).
The two main ingredients you
need are
nut butter of your choice (I'm using tahini, but you can Read

Grind oats and
nuts / seeds in a food processor until they are finely chopped, add rest of ingredients and whizz until it starts to come together, you may
need slightly
more liquid to get it to come to this stage, you want it at the texture where you can roll it into balls.
Also, I added close to 1/4 tsp of cayenne pepper to the
nuts and they still
needed more heat.
It has a base of cashew
nuts which
need to be soaked for a minimum of 2 hours beforehand (see notes at the bottom for
more about soaking
nuts), but that's about the hardest part to this recipe.
The
nut butter was
more pronounced and I feel like they taste sweeter without the
need for a ton of added sugar.
Start by adding 1/2 cup water, blend; add
more water as
needed using a tamp to scrape sides down and to keep
nut mixture moving.
Top with pine
nuts and shaved Pecorino cheese, and add
more salt if
needed.
You will also
need to use
more nut butter than oil (as the fat content per volume is lower)
My husband thought I was
nuts, but they are so stinkin» cute that I

To save even
more time, you can soak up to 3 days worth of
nuts and seeds ahead of time and keep them in the fridge to be used as
needed.
Also, different brands of
nut or seed butter yield slightly different results, you can adjust as
needed adding
more nut butter or flakes until the mixture holds together nicely.
If you soak and dehydrate your
nuts, you definitely
need to add oil (and likely
more) as you've now removed some of the natural oils within the
nuts.
