I suppose unless I'm already a believer I will
need to pay a believer a nice sum
of money in order and take a class in order to understand why a covenant that carries the penalty
of death if this god is not worshipped is
changed because, help me here (well
of course unless god can speak for himself - I guess I have to ask those who have studied his word that he gave only
once 2000 years ago to another culture), so after this covenant he came down and became a man in order to give people grace so he doesn't kill them if they don't worship him?
And it should at

Tommy God has already forgiven you for your sin the moment you asked Jesus into your life and confessed him as Lord. From that point he paid for your sin in full past present future. It is not sin that stops us from being with the Lord so you are saved. The problem you are experiencing is the battle for your life in the here and now satan is out to destroy you and he knows our weaknesses. If you are honest there were already issues in your life that you struggled with and never got the victory over.So where do you go from here as i found myself in the same situation i was a christian but walking according to the flesh.God does nt
change his mind he always loves us but because
of our choices we distance ourselves from God.The issue is that we like sin thats our wicked hearts and to be fair we cant
change our nature only Christ can do that our old nature must be crucified with Christ. The stumbling block is our pride we have to admit that we cant do it For me that was terribly difficult i was so independent thinking i could do anything but the truth was a made a real mess
of things.I sense you are at a crossroads and are feeling desperate and confused. So as a brother in the Lord you
need to confess your sin to God and tell him that you are weak -LCB- we all are -RCB- and that you cant do it in your strength -LCB- None
of us can -RCB- but ask him to send the holy spirit to help you deal with the temptations and the sin that you struggle with and he will help you to
change your life he will empower you as he did me.Rather than look at who you are look to Christ and walk in him and he will make you a new man and sin will not have dominion over you.Jesus came to set us free from bondage.Having
once been a slave to sin i know what it is like to have been set free by the power
of God and that is what Christ is offering you today. All it takes is a desire to
change or repent and admit we cant do it and trust him to give you the strength to walk in him regards brentnz
Rick the more i think about it we are to live as overcomers not strugglers since the day i decided to turn away from the sin that was controlling my life i never fell back into old sinful patterns not
once, was i tempted many many times. The Lord will work in our lives one area at a time he
needs us to give him full control so if an area is taking control we do
need to hand it to him so he can
change us.How do we do it immediately we say Lord you know i am weak but in you i am strong i leaned on him and overcame time and time again. We all have areas
of weakness that we struggle in so do nt feel bad.Struggling is us trying to do it in our own strength before this process i was so stubborn i refused to let God help me i wanted to do it in my own strength and so it was a roller coaster ride in my christian walk if the day went well i was on a high if it did nt i would would be down. Not any more now when things do nt go to plan i still thank the Lord and when it goes well i thank the Lord.Because i know that all things work for good to those who love the Lord. The main area he is wanting is our hearts he wants all our heart not only some until we come to that place we will continue to struggle in our faith. The only reason to tell you this is not to boast because
of what i have done in myself because i have nothing to boast about but if i did i would brag that Christ has empowered me by his holy spirit to be an overcomer just as he would want you to be.As Christians we are all called to be overcomers more than conquerers.Make a decision today to turn all your hearts to the Lord to acknowledge the areas you are holding onto that are controlling your flesh life hand them to the Lord and walk according to the spirit and not the flesh and he will give you the victory. That can be a reality starting today merry christmas everyone and may the new year be an exciting one as we put all our trust in Christ our Lord and savior.Brentnz
Jeremy i am surprised you never countered my argument Up till now the above view has been my understanding however things
change when the holy spirit speaks. He amazes me because its always new never old and it reveals why we often misunderstand scripture in the case
of the woman caught in adultery. We see how she was condemned to die and by the grace
of God Jesus came to her rescue that seems familar to all
of us then when they were alone he said to her Go and sin no more. This is the point we misunderstand prior to there meeting it was all about her death when she encountered Jesus something incredible happened he turned a death situation into life situation so from our background as sinners we still in our thinking and understanding dwell in the darkness our minds are closed to the truth. In effect what Jesus was saying to her and us is chose life and do nt look back that is what he meant and that is the walk we
need to live for him. That to me was a revelation it was always there but hidden.Does it
change that we
need discipline in the church that we
need rules and guidelines for our actions no we still
need those things.But does it
change how we view non believers and even ourselves definitely its not about sin but its all about choosing life and living. He also revealed some other interesting things on salvation so i might mention those on the
once saved always saved discussion.Jeremy just want to say i really appreciate your website because i have not really discussed issues like this and it really is making me press in to the Lord for answers to some
of those really difficult questions.regards brentnz

(4) the Groundhog Day effect — the inability to prepare for the inevitable slump that usually comes during or following the heavy holiday schedule in December / January... whether it's injuries or Wenger's disdain for the January transfer window, which makes sense in light
of his disdain for spending, his philosophy for handling this situation has failed miserably... my question,
once again, is how many times can one person try the same failed strategy before making some sort
of fundamental
changes... just think to yourself about our recent January dealings, especially in those years where we were still in the race but in desperate
need of reinforcements, then try not to throw up a little in your mouth
but, im ok with this vardy transfer... it shows us many things: 1) wenger is
changing, something some
of us have been demanding for a long time; 2) it shows that wenger is taking risks: think about it, he is buying a men for a not cheap price, knowing he could not getting anything after, with a future sell i mean... this is an act that shows wengers intentions to win something, the buy is not motivated by any financial or economic reason but only for a «get the f epl
once again» reason... this is an act that shows us hungry, even if we fail, we could said we try... first ever, we really try; 3) finally but very important... vardy is the kind
of player we
need... he is a warrior, a fighter... he has character... look at how he celebrate his goals... full
of energy... he, like alexis, can motivate the team when the things are not going in our way (something wenger cant do because
of his age and because he has never been an active coach on the pitch)... the vardy transfer, if it finish well, is a demostration
of a
change, and a good one... lets take care
of winning things and do nt look the economic side for
once... vardy is a bit old, but we can give a chance to welbeck after maybe, or akpom... u are not thinking about the future when we talk about ibra... guys: u complain when wenger do nt spend or because he is always looking for the bargain when u are the guys who has to pay the very expensive tickets... u complain when wenger buy the always for the future guy... like morata... stop to complain for everything and be consequent with yourself... i would love auba, but it is not going to happen... lukaku is awesome but the asking price is stupid... lets try with vardy, give us the throphy..

I'm so sick
of people telling those
of us who are disgruntled fans to relax and give this club time to correct itself... for anyone who believes that taking a wait - and - see approach is appropriate at this juncture they should take a good long look at themselves in the mirror because they are a big part
of the problem... no other «big» club's fans would stand for this shit for nearly as long as we have... think about it, we've witnessed a
changing of the guard at every major club in England, Spain, France and Germany in the last several years because those «big» clubs failed to live up to expectations (Barcelona, Real Madrid, Bayern, PSG, Chelsea, ManU, ManCity etc...)... for some reason, many fans have become as fragile as our current manager, believing that there couldn't possibly be a suitable replacement, even though everyone
of these clubs have found multiple replacements and still achieved far more than our club... this mindset has been created by an organization that has been milking it's fans, telling countless lies (no world class players available) and lowering expectations every since they rolled out the biggest lie
of all: that we couldn't spend because
of the new stadium but
once it was paid off we could compete with any team in the world... this organization is rotting from the inside out and if we don't demand that those in charge put soccer first this despicable behaviour won't end with Wenger's ridiculous 2 year contract... I think the real fear isn't that a suitable replacement doesn't exist, but that this organization is so money hungry and poorly mismanaged that we will sink even lower by choosing our next coach the same way they choose our players, on the cheap... even so, we
need to see what mustache will do if left to his own devices so he will have to show his true colours... only then can we purge this club and start anew
This is an incredibly difficult question to answer for a variety
of reasons, most importantly because over the years our
once vaunted «beautiful» style
of play has become a shadow
of it's former self, only to be replaced by a less than stellar «plug and play» mentality where players play out
of position and adjustments / substitutions are rarely forthcoming before the 75th minute... if you look at our current players, very few would make sense in the traditional Wengerian system... at present, we don't have the personnel to move the ball quickly from deep - lying position, efficient one touch midfielders that can make the necessary through balls or the disciplined and pacey forwards to stretch defences into wide positions, without the aid
of the backs coming up into the final 3rd, so that we can attack the defensive lanes in the same clinical fashion we did years ago... on this current squad, we have only 1 central defender on staf, Mustafi, who seems to have any prowess in the offensive zone or who can even pass two zones through so that we can advance play quickly out
of our own end (I have seen some inklings that suggest Holding might have some offensive qualities but too early to tell)... unfortunately Mustafi has a tendency to get himself in trouble when he gets overly aggressive on the ball... from our backs out wide, we've seen pace from the likes
of Bellerin and Gibbs and the spirited albeit offensively stunted play
of Monreal, but none
of these players possess the skill - set required in the offensive zone for the new Wenger scheme which requires deft touches, timely runs to the baseline and consistent crossing, especially when Giroud was playing and his ratio
of scored goals per clear chances was relatively low (better last year though)... obviously I like Bellerin's future prospects, as you can't teach pace, but I do worry that he regressed last season, which was obvious to Wenger because there was no way he would have used Ox as the right side wing - back so often knowing that Barcelona could come calling in the off - season, if he thought otherwise... as for our midfielders, not a single one, minus the more confident Xhaka I watched played for the Swiss national team a couple years ago, who truly makes sense under the traditional Wenger model... Ramsey holds onto the ball too long, gives the ball away cheaply far too often and abandons his defensive responsibilities on a regular basis (doesn't score enough recently to justify): that being said, I've always thought he does possess a little something special, unfortunately he thinks so too... Xhaka is a little too slow to ever boss the midfield and he tends to telegraph his one true strength, his long ball play: although I must admit he did get a bit better during some points in the latter part
of last season... it always made me wonder why whenever he played with Coq Wenger always seemed to play Francis in a more advanced role on the pitch... as for Coq, he is way too reckless at the wrong times and has exhibited little offensive prowess yet finds himself in and around the box far too often... let's face it Wenger was ready to throw him in the trash heap when injuries forced him to use Francis and then he had the nerve to act like this was all part
of a bigger Wenger constructed plan... he like Ramsey, Xhaka and Elneny don't offer the skills necessary to satisfy the quick transitory nature
of our old offensive scheme or the stout defensive mindset
needed to protect the defensive zone so that our offensive players can remain aggressive in the final third... on the front end, we have Ozil, a player
of immense skill but stunted by his physical demeanor that tends to offend, the fact that he's been played out
of position far too many times since arriving and that the players in front
of him, minus Sanchez, make little to no sense considering what he has to offer (especially Giroud); just think about the quick counter-attack offence in Real or the space and protection he receives in the German National team's midfield, where teams couldn't afford to focus too heavily on one individual... this player was a passing «specialist» long before he arrived in North London, so only an arrogant or ignorant individual would try to reinvent the wheel and / or not surround such a talent with the necessary components... in regards to Ox, Walcott and Welbeck, although they all possess serious talents I see them in large part as headless chickens who are on the injury table too much, lack the necessary first - touch and / or lack the finishing flair to warrant their inclusion in a regular starting eleven; I would say that,
of the 3, Ox showed the most upside
once we went to a back 3, but even he became a bit too consumed by his pending contract talks before the season ended and that concerned me a bit... if I had to choose one
of those 3 players to stay on it would be Ox due to his potential as a plausible alternative to Bellerin in that wing - back position should we continue to use that formation... in Sanchez, we get one
of the most committed skill players we've seen on this squad for some years but that could all
change soon, if it hasn't already
of course... strangely enough, even he doesn't make sense given the constructs
of the original Wenger offensive model because he holds onto the ball too long and he will give the ball up a little too often in the offensive zone... a fact that is largely forgotten due to his infectious energy and the fact that the numbers he has achieved seem to justify the means... finally, and in many ways most crucially, Giroud, there is nothing about this team or the offensive system that Wenger has traditionally employed that would even suggest such a player would make sense as a starter... too slow, too inefficient and way too easily dispossessed...
once again, I think he has some special skills and, at times, has showed some world - class qualities but he's lack
of mobility is an albatross around the necks
of our offence... so when you ask who would be our best starting 11, I don't have a clue because
of the 5 or 6 players that truly deserve a place in this side, 1 just arrived, 3 aren't under contract beyond 2018 and the other was just sold to Juve... man, this is theraputic because following this team is like an addiction to heroin without the benefits

The squad
needs wholesale
changes as a number
of players have

I can only hope that this attempt is taken more seriously than the largely muted and clearly unsuccessful protests
of late last season... although the plane writing escapade brought some much -
needed attention to the matter, it failed to resonate with fence - sitters and those who had just recently fell off the Wenger truck... without a big enough showing
of support the whole endeavor appeared relatively weak and poorly organized, especially to the major media outlets, whose involvement could have significantly
changed what was to follow... but I get it, few wanted to turn on their club, let alone make a public display
of their discord... problem is, they are preying on that vulnerability, in fact, their counting on you to keep your thoughts to yourself... who are you to tell these fat cats how to steal your money... they have worked long and hard to pull the wool over your eyes... they even went so far as to pay enormous sums
of cash to your
once beloved professor to be their corporate spokesmodel so that the whole thing would be more palatable... eventually the club made it appear as if this was simply a relatively small fringe group
of highly radicalized supporters, which allowed the pro-Wenger element inside the club hierarchy to claim victory following the FA Cup win... unfortunately what has happened to this club can't be solved by FA Cups or a few players coming in, the very culture
of this club
needs to be
changed and that starts at the top... in order to
change the unhealthy and dysfunctional narrative that has absorbed this club we
need to remove everyone who presently occupies a position
of power... only then can we get back to the business
of playing championship caliber football, which should always be the number one priority
of this organization... on an important side note, one
of the most devastating mistakes made in the final days
of this hectic and poorly planned transfer window didn't have to do with the big name players like Sanchez or Lemar, but the fact that they failed to secure Jadon Sancho, who might even start for Dortmund this season... I think they might seriously regret this oversight... instead
of spending so much time, energy and manpower pretending that they were desperately trying to make big moves, they
once again lost the plot due to their all too familiar tunnel vision
(3) this team is rotting from the inside out and it's going to take some unprecedented moves on the part
of this board and the fans to facilitate the necessary
changes... this club must rid itself
of it's absentee billionaire landlord before we become just another sporting wasteland in this man's collection
of flailing clubs... when this is done it will expose just what exactly has been going on behind the scenes and I'm afraid
of what will be uncovered because if Wenger's business model is as antiquated as his football philosophy it could look an awful lot like and old Monty Python sketch in the backroom... we
need to replace the owner with someone who actually cares about this club and isn't afraid to wear their emotions on his or her sleeves or spend their own money to achieve greatness... this new owner
needs to find someone who represents the same sort
of cutting edge that Wenger represented in his early years then pair that individual with someone who knows how to conduct transfers in the modern era... then and only then will we find a way to escape the malaise that has permeated our
once storied club for way too many years
Time for some brutal honesty... this team, as it stands, is in no better position to compete next season than they were 12 months ago, minus the fact that some fans have been easily snowed by the acquisition
of Lacazette, the free transfer LB and the release
of Sanogo... if you look at the facts carefully you will see a team that still has far more questions than answers... to better show what I mean by this statement I will briefly discuss the current state
of affairs on a position - by - position basis... in goal we have 4 potential candidates, but in reality we have only 1 option with any real future and somehow he's the only one we have actively tried to get rid
of for years because he and his father were a little too involved on social media and he got caught smoking (funny how people still defend Wiltshire under the same and far worse circumstances)... you would think we would want to keep any goaltender that Juventus had interest in, as they seem to have a pretty good history when it comes to that position... as far as the defenders on our current roster there are only a few individuals whom have the skill and / or youth worthy
of our time and / or investment, as such we should get rid
of anyone who doesn't meet those simple requirements, which means we should get rid
of DeBouchy, Gibbs, Gabriel, Mertz and loan out Chambers to see if last seasons foray with Middlesborough was an anomaly or a prediction
of things to come... some fans have lamented wildly about the return
of Mertz to the starting lineup due to his FA Cup performance but these sort
of pie in the sky meanderings are indicative
of what's wrong with this club and it's wishy - washy fan - base... in addition to these moves the club should aggressively pursue the acquisition
of dominant and mobile CB to stabilize an all too fragile defensive group that has self - destructed on numerous occasions over the past 5 seasons... moving forward and building on our
need to re-establish our
once dominant presence throughout the middle
of the park we
need to target a CDM then do whatever it takes to get that player into the fold without any
of the usual nickel and diming we have become famous for (this kind
of ruthless haggling has cost us numerous special players and certainly can't help make the player in question feel good about the way their future potential employer feels about them)... in order for us to become dominant again we
need to be strong up the middle again from Goalkeeper to CB to DM to ACM to striker, like we did in our most glorious years before and during Wenger's reign... with this in mind, if we want Ozil to be that dominant attacking midfielder we can't keep leaving him exposed to constant ridicule about his lack
of defensive prowess and provide him with the proper players in the final third... he was never a good defensive player in Real or with the German National squad and they certainly didn't suffer as a result
of his presence on the pitch... as for the rest
of the midfield the blame falls squarely in the hands
of Wenger and Gazidis, the fact that Ramsey, Ox, Sanchez and even Ozil were allowed to regularly start when none
of the aforementioned had more than a year left under contract is criminal for a club
of this size and financial might... the fact that we could find money for Walcott and Xhaka, who weren't even guaranteed starters, means that our whole business model
needs a complete overhaul... for me it's time to get rid
of some serious deadweight, even if it means selling them below what you believe their market value is just to simply right this ship and
change the stagnant culture that currently exists... this means saying goodbye to Wiltshire, Elneny, Carzola, Walcott and Ramsey... everyone, minus Elneny, have spent just as much time on the training table as on the field
of play, which would be manageable if they weren't so inconsistent from a performance standpoint (excluding Carzola, who is like the recent version
of Rosicky — too bad, both will be deeply missed)... in their places we
need to bring in some proven performers with no history
of injuries... up front, although I do like the possibilities that a player like Lacazette presents, the fact that we had to wait so many years to acquire some true quality at the striker position falls
once again squarely at the feet
of Wenger... this issue highlights the ultimate scam being perpetrated by this club since the arrival
of Kroenke: pretend your a small market club when it comes to making purchases but milk your fans like a big market club when it comes to ticket prices and merchandising... I believe the reason why Wenger hasn't pursued someone
of Henry's quality, minus a fairly inexpensive RVP, was that he knew that they would demand players
of a similar ilk to be brought on board and that wasn't possible when the business model was that
of a «selling» club... does it really make sense that we could only make a cheeky bid for Suarez, or that we couldn't get Higuain over the line when he was being offered up for half the price he eventually went to Juve for, or that we've only paid any interest to strikers who were clearly not going to press their current teams to let them go to Arsenal like Benzema or Cavani... just part
of the facade that finally came crashing down when Sanchez finally called their bluff... the fact remains that no one wants to win more than Sanchez, including Wenger, and although I don't agree with everything that he has done off the field, I would much rather have Alexis front and center than a manager who has clearly bought into the Kroenke model in large part due to the fact that his enormous ego suggests that only he could accomplish great things without breaking the bank... unfortunately that isn't possible anymore as the game has
changed quite dramatically in the last 15 years, which has left a largely complacent and complicit Wenger on the outside looking in... so don't blame those players who demanded more and were left wanting... don't blame those fans who have tried desperately to raise awareness for several years when cracks began to appear... place the blame at the feet
of those who were well aware all along
of the potential pitfalls
of just such a plan but continued to follow it even when it was no longer a financial necessity, like it ever really was...
This House
of Cards created by the thin - skinned narcissist and our absentee landlord is going to come crashing down over the next 12 months and anyone who doesn't put the success
of the club ahead
of blind allegiances will
need to check themselves so that we can move forward
once the dust has settled... this club has been on auto - pilot for far too long and the same old, same old just won't cut it in the new EPL where many
of the best managers, players and deepest pockets in the world now reside... just think to yourself what has transpired in the last 7 years alone: Leicester City won the EPL, Chelsea and ManCity have
changed several managers and still won the League on multiple occasions, ManU lost Fergie yet we still didn't take advantage, Liverpool has emerged from their slumber and the Spurs are presently the better team in North London... if you find this acceptable, I feel for you and this future
of this club... hope you all enjoy fighting with Everton and West Ham for the final Europa spot every year (aka the new Wenger Cup)
Once top 3 is secured then think about giving some more
of the squad a run out ahead
of wembley, until then play the team that has got us to where we are now, only
changing for injuries or if the manager feels a certain player
needs a start.
we got Arshaz, Nasri, Cesc and Rosicky who pretty much play the way he does we really do nt
need him to burden our treatmentroom either i have been really hoping this Melo thing was jus a cover up for both Fiorentina and ourselves, i mean Melo is overrated in my opinion and i think we were jus usinim so we can get Inler under the radar bacuse we all know
once it gets out tha we have mad a bid al
of sudden Liverpool and even ManU re will want a piece not to mention Citeh who have De Jong, Kompany and Barry and will still try something, anyway i really hope that the case because if not it would be poor plannin by Wenger coz Melo as come out on numerous occassions stating he was happy to stay in Italy so do nt see how we would have thought we could
change his mind.
I disagree with u ryan the playwrs we got from southampton hve been so inconsistant and u then you say origi ings etc were bought at a steal and will be worth more in time to come so u agree with fsg policy buy potential and
once they become better players sell them for a profit sorry but thats my opinion we
need to hold on to the better players than compliment them with other great players fsg have turned liverpool into a selling club to fill there bck pockets this was never the liverpool way and now because
of this fsg policy is the reason were mid table klopp
needs to be given the funds he
needs to
change things only then can we judge him i just hope he is given the chance before he decides to walk YNWA
I haven't
changed my stance
once in the last 4 to 5 years and I am glad to Welcome t Lacazette and if he can even produce 75 %
of the goals scored in the French league, he will be a huge bonus and it appears a true CF.We hopefully are still in the market for Mahrez as in all probability we wont let Sanchez run down his contract and walk away on a free, as that is not the Arsenal way.We
need to sell several players and it's the saving
of wages that is most important not what we get and a decision has to be made on particularly Wilshere and it looks like the player we arguably missed the most last season Santi Cazorla maybe coming to the end
of his playing days.We have already tried to sell Gibbs and Jenkinson and in all probability add the two keepers, Ospina and Szczesny to the list which leaves Joel Campbell who seems to have missed his chance and should have been sold at a premium after the last WC, but more importantly The Ox and Giroud. Our attack force
needs a real hard think as I can't see Perez as a long term Arsenal player, but Walcott, like him or not in all probability will stay.
But i must complement wenger he has
changed the culture
of the club and given the team a spirit But does that give him the right to neglect the
needs of the fans for some trophies Arsenal tickets are the most expensive yet the fans settle for good football as opposed to winning football as mentioned on this blog i don't get it But wenger knows
once you keep the share holders happy then your in business It puzzles me that a modern manager can go six (6) yes six seasons without a single trophy and some people can come here making bone dry excuses, the ambition
of the club has dropped wenger can coach at no other top club in Europe and not win a trophy he would be shown the door.
