If we are in
need of a goal bring Danny in and have him up front with OG and ditch the DM position which would be Le Coq after his suspension of Flamini.

need, we have started with Alexis and Walcot at the beginning
of the season, they did very well both scoring
goals but suddenly, we changed the lineup because OG scored
goals when
brought in as substitute.
«Wenger is giving the striker the self confidence and belief that should help him to start banging more
goals in himself» i highly doubt that makes one a
goal scorer... otherwise why
bring about this question after welbeck has been involved in two
goals??? To me walcot is a better option because
of his finishing, smart runs, game reading, delivering during big games, good final touch and making it easier for the right back since he keeps defenders in deep in their half therefore, no
need for him to be defensive.
Yesterday it was obvious that giroud
needed to be
brought on from the start
of the second half, but what does wenger do sit on his ass anf wait for a miracle, we were lucky that a

Darren Bent has notched up in 99

of consistent performer that Dalglish may feel he
needs to
bring in to partner Suarez up front in order to push his Anfield side back into the top four after three lean seasons away from the top table.
obviously I would prefer to have a much more suitable alternative in the defensive midfielder positions but if they focused more on defensive end and the occasional long - ball, this would allow Bellerin and Sead ample opportunities to bomb forward on their respective wings while still having enough cover to maintain their defensive shape... it would likewise allow for overlapping runs on both wings, thereby letting both Sanchez and Perez to cut inside and get shots away in and around the top
of the box with their most dominant feet... if
goals were
needed I would sub Bellerin for OX and
bring Ramsey in for Elneny then switch to a 3 -2-4-1 (more
of a 3 -1-5-1 with Ramsey playing higher up the pitch) and I would only use Giroud as a sub when the game dictated it for tactical reasons... this would allow us to be a high energy team with incredible link - up play and a much more direct approach in the offensive end
There's another guy Colombia

It's difficult to blame Ozil for the difficulties he's faced at Arsenal without looking at the big picture... like the fans, he too was lied to by Wenger... there is no doubt in my mind that he was told by Wenger that he was trying desperately to recreate our earlier success by acquiring players that fit the system he ran when Henry was in his prime... as we know this hasn't happened... in order for Ozl to flourish he
needs some speed up front, forwards that can make intelligent runs, a boss in the midfield to compensate for his obvious defensive liabilities and defenders who can transition from defence to offence quickly and efficiently... much like he had in Real and with the German National squad... unfortunately he ended up on a squad that has a striker who plays with his back to
goal, very few intelligent runs into the box, minus Sanchez, no one to take pressure off him in the midfield, once Cazorla was injured, average defensive midfielders around him, which simply highlighted his lacking defensive qualities and defenders who lack the necessary cutting edge when it comes to transitional passing... instead
of blaming Ozil, which is simply too easy, especially considering his mopey disposition, we should be asking ownership and / or Wenger why they
brought him in if they didn't intend on doing what was necessary to get the best from him... can you imagine Ozil playing with the likes
of Henry, Viera, Petit and Pires, it would be incredibly to watch and even more difficult to stop... so the only thing different between his experiences in Real and with the German team versus his time at Arsenal are the players around him and we all know who is in charge
of making those decisions, the Grinch who stole soccer
And apart from Alexis Sanchez who operates on the flanks anyway, none

our rivals all have good squads but they are still
bringing in stars every season and improve their team, we are virtually 3 signings away from having one
of the best teams in our history, and again they talk about having a good squad, we
need an upgrade in
goal, ospina is solid but when someone like cech is available you go for him, we
need a DM to share the duties with lecoq, and we for sure
need a new world class striker, and yet we wait and all our targets are heading in different direction.
You want to win the league, your main man

This thing is being given too much attention. There a lot
of players Arsenal passed up on that Mourinho may have also signed you know.In fact there a lot
of top players who Arsenal passed up on signing when they were young and for some even matured.Does this mean they aren't good enough?Wenger even regrets passing up on certain players. The fact is that everyone has his basis for signing or not signing a player.Clearly, Wenger and Mourinho both have their basis on whether Lacazette was good enough. One player who is deemed average to another team could be deemed useless to another team.I just don't know why much attention is being given to this thing. One thing I know for sure is Laca is a good finisher and that's alk he
needs this season.If Lacazette
brings his finishing boots this season it's going to be
goals galore.
but, here's a little reminder
of his importance (i) upon arrival his was the
goal that catapulted into th CL; (ii) when others were tired and unable to respond he has the strength
of character to fight to
bring us into the game; (iii) he scores the
goal to save us face in FAC after last seasons fiasco; (iv) he is without equal our best player so he already earned the right to be in the highest bracket
of epl strikers, we
need sanchez desperately we've no choice other than to pay # 320K + and build into his deal performance rated enhancements so as we're all able to move forwards.
As well as his
goals, Flamini
brought grit, drive and determination to the heart
of the Arsenal team and we
needed it.
Therefore, I would slowly but steadily incorporate Mina in Piques spot like how Umtiti was incorporated last season in Mascherano) CB: Umtitti LB: Alba (this posisiton would be up for grabs, explain later) LM: Roberto (once iniesta gone, this position will be up for grabs as well) DM: Busquets RM: Rakitic LF: Araniaz (time to promote, we
need a good winger, and who better that him, having been
brought up by the Masia) CF: Messi (Messi as False 9 and with two good wingers, along with midfielders around him, he'll thrive with plenty
of options to assist, or go at
goal for himself, with the fullbacks stretched, and him dealing with only two centerbacks, which we all know he is more than capable) RF: Coutinho (future at Barca, mark my words!)
Off course we can not just change everyone on the pitch (as Hafiz would have liked), but the fair point is that we
need a
goal machine sort
of striker and we
need him as soon as possible,
bringing on Alexis Sanchez (who just came back from his extended leave) in the second half after Walcott, is itself a proof that Giroud can not score in such games where if expect our striker to score.
Perez gets
brought on for the last 8 minutes, would've scored a
goal, had it not been hand balled away by a hull defender, looked more dangerous and committed than Walcott did in 70 minutes, changed the complexion
of the game and he wasn't fit to start that game????? You don't
need to a physio to tell that, you just
need a pair
of eyes.
Was a bit surprised by the decision to
bring on Welbeck instead
of Giroud when we
needed a late
goal.
The issue is that because
of his energy coupled with his fantastic vision and usual calmness in front
of goal, AW sees the
need to fit him into the squad, with Ozil and Cazorla being irreplaceable right now, right wing is the only position where no - one has nailed down their place, where
brings me to my point
of writing.
Wenger had the luxury
of bringing on both Theo Walcott and Danny Welbeck to improve our striking options, and for once the fans can not complain about his decisions as both
of them went on to score our
needed two
goals.
It is up to Arsenal to make the most
of any slip ups by our Premier League rivals
of course, and after slipping back into third place, even though we are only behind Man City on
goal difference, means that we will
need to do better than them and Leicester City for the rest
of the season, while the run
of results from our north London rivals has
brought Tottenham right up to just two points behind us and got people talking about them as genuine title contenders.
Arsenal are pushing and Wenger
brought on Welbeck to aid the attack in place
of Iwobi (who had a much better shift today than usual), as we desperately
need a
goal..
Next week to Chelsea game Arsenal
need to put Danny welbeck in the side against Chelsea which is where they fail to have exceptional pace that arsenal possess to fight the threat
of hazard and Willian, other than that Fabregas will do whatever he can in his power to muster up a
goal so therefore cazorla maybe sacrifices for Ramsey and Ozil which will
bring a quick team to boot.
We
need some midfielders that can be strong and battle for us!!!! al our midfield are forward thinking and there is such a big hole from them and the back 4, It does not matter who we have playing at the back we will always get attacked with
goals against us with the style
of midfielders we have, Let get some steel in the middle
of the park, Lets
bring in some players that other teams feel fear playing against us, Look back at our best teams and we have always had players that will get back and cover and can tackle and win balls in the middle
of the park, So many
of our midfield now can, t even get back never mind win the ball back when we
need it, It is NOT about the price
of players it is all about buying players that can balance a good strong team, At time we
need to buy a player who is not a star but is good at doing what we
need him to do,
Walcott as average as people say he is can get us about a total
of 16
goals in all competitions this season when in form.Coquelin looked really good in preseason and looks to have gotten his interception ability back.Elneny has the ability to position himself in such a way that there's always someone next to him so he can make a simple pass while possessing aggresiveness and being able to intercept. This is for now is a good lineup. It's unfair to keep playing those who have failed while others wait.We
need to get players back to form quickly. We must also
bring back Wilshere who is bettrr than Ramsey and Xhaka and gets to form quickly.
So far this transfer window we have
brought in 2 players, Lacazette and Kolasinac, both are extremely good players who can help our cause but because
of our attacking play we are always going to concede
goals and therefore I believe we still
need a top class CB and DM.
Ramsey was poorly positioned not just in their
goal but in decision making,
bringing a left back with 15 mins left who does nt give you and edge and chambers to fill the centre with a CB instead
of DM which caused chaos and pushed us even deeper. Conclusion as SKY pundits again and again «Arsenal
need a DM and ST» to win the EPL until then NEVER.
Wenger has once agin showed how much
of a poor manager he has become, wow so many things he got wrong today starting with our starting 11, Sanchez is waisted as striker, Ox should have started, Carzola ahead od Ramsey and Liverpool sign a player for 34mil he scores a wonder
goal, we sign a player for 34mil bench him and then
bring him on under seious presure, Wenger we
need a forward ASAP who can make a
goal outta nothing like Mane did, and we
need Mahrez for his unperdictable dynamic, Wenger you are poor poor poor poor, gutter poor, go and coach a french ligue 4 side, you pub quaity manager.
In terms
of signings: GK - in: either Pickford / Lafont out: Ospina (don't want him to leave but it seems inevitable) RB: in: Mario Gaspar / Hugo Mallo / Karsdorp / Pereira / Cancelo, out: Debuchy and Jenkinson CB: in: Van Dijk / Manolas / Tah / Keane, out: Mertesacker, Gabriel (keep if we play a back 3),
bring back Chambers LB: in: Mendy / Kolasinac / Bertrand, out: Gibbs CDM: in: Nzonzi / Bakayoko / Danilo Pereira / Carvalho / Tousart / Diawara, out: Coquelin CM: in: Isco / Jorginho / Keita / Weigl / Kovacic to play the santi role, out: Ramsey, Wilshere Winger: in: Lemar / Douglas Costa / Lucas / Zaha / Balde Keita - someone who can beat a player, out: Walcott (scored quite a few
goals this year but does not impact games the way someone at their prime should) Striker: in: Lacazette, out: Giroud (only for a good offer though, he's a decent super sub, however if Sanchez stays we may not
need a first choice ST)
Like yesterday was as low as it gets for me as fan I didn't even care when Liverpool got 3 rd and fourth
goals because we're dead our pride as fans is same as players we're just dead hurt, sad, weak and spineless then it gets better ox is going Chelsea today and now timers sanchez has put in transfer request haha when board said change they meant it change as in we're selling all players and we're going like Aston Villa laugh u mite we are rotten from top to da bottom and it will get better cause I bet by Thursday we will
bring in nobody and promote young kids we mite chance van diik he's going for 60 million and by Thursday night sky sports will report arsenal came in with last min bid
of 21 million for van diik it got flat out laughed at so at 1 min to 11 we came in again with bid
of 27 million and add ons til 2029 its hard and it is only beginning haha ox starts at anfield and was shambles and he is sold today says a lot about wenger if that was me I'd say stay away till ur sold u little traitor thanks ox hope its worth it, loyalty me behind ahwell we still bellerin another little man and heart holding for Barca ahhhh I'm so mad we
need Simeon's cum in and start bouncing heads off da canvas Jesus
bring bk George graham at least we have defence??
players like Ozil always present the fans with a bit
of a conundrum, especially when times are tough... if you look around the sporting world every once in awhile there emerges a player with incredible skill, like Ozil, Matt Sundin or even Jay Cutler, who have a different way about themselves... their movement seemed almost too lackadaisical, so much so that it seemed to suggest indifference or even disinterest on the part
of the player... their posture always appears somewhat mopey and they generally have an unflattering «sour puss» expression on their face... for some their above average skills are enough to keep them squarely in the mix, as their respective teams try desperately to find a way to get the best out
of them visa vie player acquisitions or the reworking
of tactics... when things go according to planned the fans usually find a way to accept their unique disposition, whereas when things go awry they become easy targets for fans and pundits alike... in the case
of Ozil and Sundin, their successes on the international stage and / or with their former teams led many to conclude that if we surrounded such talented individuals with players that have those skills that would most likely
bring the best
of these players success would surely follow... unfortunately both the Maple Leafs and our club chose to adopt half - measures, as each were being run by corporations who valued profitability over providing the best possible product on the field... for them, they cared more about shirt sales and season tickets than doing whatever was necessary... this isn't, by any stretch, an attempt to absolve Ozil
of any responsibility for his failures on the pitch... there is no doubt oftentimes his efforts were underwhelming, to say the least, but this club has been inept when it comes to providing this prolific passer with the kind
of players necessary for him to flourish... with our poor man's version
of Benzema up front, the headless chickens in Walcott, the younger Ox and Welbeck occupying wide positions far too often and the fact that Carzola, who provided Ozil with great service and more freedom to roam, was never truly replaced, the only real skilled outlet on the pitch was Sanchez... remember to be considered a world - class set - up man
goals need to be scored and for much
of his time here he has been surrounded by some incredibly inept finishers... in the end, I'm not sure how long he will be in North London, recent sentiments and his present contract situation seem to suggest that he will depart at season's end, but how tragic would it be if once again we didn't put our best foot forward and failed to make those moves that could have
brought championship football back to our once beloved club... so when you think about this uniquely skilled player don't be so quick to shift all the blame on his shoulders because he will not be the first or the last highly skilled player to find disappointment at the Emirates if we don't rid the club
of those individuals that are truly to blame for our current woes
Coupled with some shortage
of lack, I feel that the team lacks aggresiveness... they
need to be more
goal hungry, Welbeck
needs to remember he was
brought as an upgrade to Giroud, TO SCORE
GOALS!
Time for some brutal honesty... this team, as it stands, is in no better position to compete next season than they were 12 months ago, minus the fact that some fans have been easily snowed by the acquisition
of Lacazette, the free transfer LB and the release
of Sanogo... if you look at the facts carefully you will see a team that still has far more questions than answers... to better show what I mean by this statement I will briefly discuss the current state
of affairs on a position - by - position basis... in
goal we have 4 potential candidates, but in reality we have only 1 option with any real future and somehow he's the only one we have actively tried to get rid
of for years because he and his father were a little too involved on social media and he got caught smoking (funny how people still defend Wiltshire under the same and far worse circumstances)... you would think we would want to keep any goaltender that Juventus had interest in, as they seem to have a pretty good history when it comes to that position... as far as the defenders on our current roster there are only a few individuals whom have the skill and / or youth worthy
of our time and / or investment, as such we should get rid
of anyone who doesn't meet those simple requirements, which means we should get rid
of DeBouchy, Gibbs, Gabriel, Mertz and loan out Chambers to see if last seasons foray with Middlesborough was an anomaly or a prediction
of things to come... some fans have lamented wildly about the return
of Mertz to the starting lineup due to his FA Cup performance but these sort
of pie in the sky meanderings are indicative
of what's wrong with this club and it's wishy - washy fan - base... in addition to these moves the club should aggressively pursue the acquisition
of dominant and mobile CB to stabilize an all too fragile defensive group that has self - destructed on numerous occasions over the past 5 seasons... moving forward and building on our
need to re-establish our once dominant presence throughout the middle
of the park we
need to target a CDM then do whatever it takes to get that player into the fold without any
of the usual nickel and diming we have become famous for (this kind
of ruthless haggling has cost us numerous special players and certainly can't help make the player in question feel good about the way their future potential employer feels about them)... in order for us to become dominant again we
need to be strong up the middle again from Goalkeeper to CB to DM to ACM to striker, like we did in our most glorious years before and during Wenger's reign... with this in mind, if we want Ozil to be that dominant attacking midfielder we can't keep leaving him exposed to constant ridicule about his lack
of defensive prowess and provide him with the proper players in the final third... he was never a good defensive player in Real or with the German National squad and they certainly didn't suffer as a result
of his presence on the pitch... as for the rest
of the midfield the blame falls squarely in the hands
of Wenger and Gazidis, the fact that Ramsey, Ox, Sanchez and even Ozil were allowed to regularly start when none
of the aforementioned had more than a year left under contract is criminal for a club
of this size and financial might... the fact that we could find money for Walcott and Xhaka, who weren't even guaranteed starters, means that our whole business model
needs a complete overhaul... for me it's time to get rid
of some serious deadweight, even if it means selling them below what you believe their market value is just to simply right this ship and change the stagnant culture that currently exists... this means saying goodbye to Wiltshire, Elneny, Carzola, Walcott and Ramsey... everyone, minus Elneny, have spent just as much time on the training table as on the field
of play, which would be manageable if they weren't so inconsistent from a performance standpoint (excluding Carzola, who is like the recent version
of Rosicky — too bad, both will be deeply missed)... in their places we
need to
bring in some proven performers with no history
of injuries... up front, although I do like the possibilities that a player like Lacazette presents, the fact that we had to wait so many years to acquire some true quality at the striker position falls once again squarely at the feet
of Wenger... this issue highlights the ultimate scam being perpetrated by this club since the arrival
of Kroenke: pretend your a small market club when it comes to making purchases but milk your fans like a big market club when it comes to ticket prices and merchandising... I believe the reason why Wenger hasn't pursued someone
of Henry's quality, minus a fairly inexpensive RVP, was that he knew that they would demand players
of a similar ilk to be
brought on board and that wasn't possible when the business model was that
of a «selling» club... does it really make sense that we could only make a cheeky bid for Suarez, or that we couldn't get Higuain over the line when he was being offered up for half the price he eventually went to Juve for, or that we've only paid any interest to strikers who were clearly not going to press their current teams to let them go to Arsenal like Benzema or Cavani... just part
of the facade that finally came crashing down when Sanchez finally called their bluff... the fact remains that no one wants to win more than Sanchez, including Wenger, and although I don't agree with everything that he has done off the field, I would much rather have Alexis front and center than a manager who has clearly bought into the Kroenke model in large part due to the fact that his enormous ego suggests that only he could accomplish great things without breaking the bank... unfortunately that isn't possible anymore as the game has changed quite dramatically in the last 15 years, which has left a largely complacent and complicit Wenger on the outside looking in... so don't blame those players who demanded more and were left wanting... don't blame those fans who have tried desperately to raise awareness for several years when cracks began to appear... place the blame at the feet
of those who were well aware all along
of the potential pitfalls
of just such a plan but continued to follow it even when it was no longer a financial necessity, like it ever really was...
my reason being I'm simply tired
of the «Giroud will come good this season» «this will be the breakout season for [promising young talent]» «our midfield will
bring us the
needed goals if our strikers don't» «If we have a injury free season.....»
all
of which
bring me to the role
of the fans at this critical juncture in our team's history, which is to look at the facts with a rational eye, make sure that the fat cats take responsibility for their decisions and to speak out when the club is failing to pursue only the highest
goals, especially when you're one
of the riches clubs in the world... so enjoy the victory, but temper those celebrations with the knowledge that one victory doesn't make a season and that to win this marathon you
need the prepare accordingly with the proper players, tactics and determined play... so the next two weeks are absolutely crucial if we intend to be contenders and not pretenders
I would start with Theo and continue the successful policy
of bringing on OG for the final 20 minutes (should we
need goals).
With existing injuries to Sadio Mane, and Danny Ings, it means that Liverpool might face the prospect
of needing a late
goal without established attacking talent to
bring off the bench.
firstly we are atHOME withONE striker up front then
bring on a striker and play him wide, why not (as its supposed to be one
of many cup finals) start with chakah - RVP and NB52 up front batter them with crosses and then if
need be once having a
goal advantage defend it
bring on the likes
of theo the sprinter and get them on the counter attack as they try to equalise.....
Although Newcastle only conceded 1
goal against Manchester United, their defence has always been their weak point, and
need to be weary
of the threat Elmander is likely to
bring.
Many
