needing classroom choices, supplementing their regular classes, and working toward a GED as an adult.

But at the end of the day, one thing's for sure: Teachers
need just as much engagement, collaboration, and
choice as students in order to facilitate innovative experiences in the
classroom.
Schools also
need to offer more instructional
choices to students and provide alternatives to the traditional
classroom experience.

Nevertheless, Committee members found the evidence on the impact of high - quality pre-K and third - grade reading so compelling that members recommended making difficult
