If you're exclusively expressing or pumping regularly to feed your baby expressed milk, you'll need to plan on pumping more breastmilk to accommodate baby's
needs during a growth spurt (you may need to dip into that freezer stash, too).
Because I listen to their needs and wants, they cluster feed to bring more milk on so I have enough to cope with
their needs during a growth spurt.

If you are noticing an increase of tantrums at home and you think it may be related to hunger you may
need to change the time of meal and snack times or offer more food
during growth spurts.
Keep in mind that many babies experience a
growth spurt around 4 months of age, so that could be the reason your baby is suddenly waking up hungry at night, or
needing to nurse more frequently
during the day.
