If you are an adrenaline junkie like myself, you really
need to visit Gansbaai and go
shark cage diving.
Shark cage diving is absolutely safe and you
need not have any diving experience at all.
If that still does not satisfy the
need for adventure, there are quad bike trails at Zingela Indlela Game farm,
shark cage diving, parasailing and deep sea fishing, or abseiling and kayaking at the famous Diaz Beach resort.
All our vessels have a dedicated air system for
shark cage operations and offer the largest
shark cages available along with every other diving amenity you and or your group will
need.
I also didn't want to be in
cage surrounded by
sharks, which could also represent the consumer treadmill, with the
sharks being massive corporations selling me stuff I don't
need or want, yet I chose this.
Four or five dives a day with a number of five - metre - long great white
sharks (some which came so close to my
cage I could brush their teeth), is something that will give anyone an appreciation for these animals, and the
need to protect them and other
sharks from a commercial fishing industry that would simply cut off their fins and throw them back in the sea to die.
