There have been many calls to
adopt Timmy.I would like to mention that there are many other
animals with handicaps, both dogs and cats, who are waiting patiently for new homes.It is wonderful that so many people respond whenever a story
of a dog or cat is printed, but believe me, the others who are waiting have stories
of abuse,
neglect and abandonment to tell if only they could.

It costs a great deal to take in abandoned,
neglected, sick and injured
animals and care for their myriad
of medical and behavioral issues as well as providing for daily food, care, shelter, toys, transportation and other needs until
adopted.
