Every time an animal is adopted to a forever home, a place is opened up in the rescue and foster care network for another animal in need.

This fundraiser benefits PetNet, an all - volunteer organization building a strong network of foster families in central Illinois who provide safe, loving temporary homes for animals in need until their forever homes can be found.

To accomplish this we maintain a network of Massachusetts animal welfare organizations and an online database for posting dogs who are in need of transfer.

By developing a network of animal welfare organizations throughout the state and acting as a liaison between them, we facilitate the evaluation and intrastate transfer of pets in need throughout this network - from organizations with limited resources to those that have more resources for finding «forever homes.»

From October 1 - 31, The Safe Haven Network is collecting supplies needed most by our partner domestic violence shelters and animal shelters in and around Chicago.
