That's one of the biggest pieces of advice I give my design clients — if you are on a budget, choose
neutrals for the big ticket items like furniture and flooring... and then, when you get the itch to switch, you can do so without breaking the bank by adding a couple seasonal throw pillows, a few pops of color via florals, or maybe an inexpensive blanket or DIY project.
You'll be less inclined to make changes if you choose to incorporate
neutral bigger ticket items - and, you'll save on your bottom line, which is always an important factor when it comes to designing
for kids.
