never listens to audiobooks asked me the average price for one.
More than eight in ten people (83 %) say that
they never listen to audiobooks, whilst just 6 % say they listen to them at least once a month.

Certainly there are things
to love; Bilbo's character progression and his untimely addiction
to one precious ring is welcome (although not nearly as prominent as it ought
to be), the set design and telescopic vistas are almost as epic as ever, seeing the majesty of gold - diggin» dragon Smaug realized in impressive CG tantalizes the little boy in me (the one who
listened to The Hobbit
audiobook until it wore out), and one particularly fun scene involving dwarves in a barrel is a blatant film highlight; but other elements that ought
to stand out fall flat on their face and
never recover.

to draw attention
to audiobooks and
to promote it
to people who have
never listened to one before.
As you know, I narrate a book or two almost every week and I've
never bought or
listened to a free
audiobook once in my life!
This means
audiobooks and
listening to songs will
never be a part of the Nook 2 experience, but since many people only buy e-readers for a pure reading experience and do not care about the bells and whistles, lack of audio doesn't have
to be considered a flaw.
I
never got into
audiobooks, but I
listen to podcasts regularly, go figure.
