Chelsea at the moment has 500 — ballpark figure — talented youth players out on loan, and 490 of those will
never play for the first team.
Joined Bayern Munich as a teenager but
never played for the first team, later going to Nuremberg and signed for Schalke in January.

If anyone where to go and search and see how much Wilshere is actually getting paid
for, many of you will be shocked as I am to see he is earning so much
for someone that hardly
plays and who is
never in the
first team.
Come the other year when Arsenal went the whole season without a defeat in the Premier League, Barcelona were attracted by Marc Overmas and Emmanue Petti, the two joined Barcelona, they
played few games, and sometime on the bench, as a result Emmanue Petti decided to go back to England and joined New - Castle and always regret leaving Arsenal, then the other year it was Alexander Hleb, he was the best dribller in Arsenal
team, he went again to Barcelona, he was
never given some games, I think he only
played few games as a sub, and his carrier was destroyed by Barcelona, then come Henry, he again went to Barcelona, he
played some games but not like he used to do at Arsenal, he was not looking like a star player anymore, he decided to go to America, then there was Fabrigas, he joined Barcelona again, since he was one of their juniors, I think he
played for two seasons, and supporter used to booing him, he decided to come back to Arsenal, by then Arsenal had already resplaced him with Ozil, and he joined Chelsea, then come Alexander Song, he pushed to go to Barcelona, he was always on the banch, and
never been on
first eleven, then he ended up regreting joing Barcelona, and wanted to go back to Arsenal, but normally Wenger do not take players who pushed themselves to be out of Arsenal, lastly there was Vermuleen, he went to Barcelona and ended up not
playing at all but when
playing for Arsenal they used to be star players.
I would not eqbt to see that match... sure walcott can take the place of alexis when the second has been more important
for us in 3 years than the
first in 10 years... im not ok with alexis attitude yesterday but u do nt know if that was because he was sustituted... maybe he was not ok with his performance or he want mire goals, and thats ok
for me, that attituted u will
never see in theo because he born here under wenger and he is ok with his wages that he do nt deserve and being 4th... im ok with alexis attitud in boros game, because a draw was not enought
for arsenal, and im ok with him when he ask
for the salary he does diserve...
for me he is one of the best in the epl, maybe the best, and without any question who makes things happen in our
team... he deserves 200 or 250k a week more than any in our
team, even moseur wenger... ozil deserve 180k only because he is going up with his performances and have show more attitud than ever... ur famous theo deserve 80k or go and
play at west ham
Prior to his move he
played for Manchester United, but could
never hold down a
first team place under Alex Ferguson.
In the midfield, (including RWB & LWB) we have a whole bunch of tweeners... none offer the full package, none make sense in our manager's current favourite formation, except
for Sead on the left and Ox on the right, and all of them have
never shown any consistency
for more than a heartbeat... Sead, who I'm including in this category because of our present formation, looks like a positive addition, minus his occasional brain farts, but I would rather see what he could do in a back 4 before making my mind up... Ox, who has
never played better, which isn't saying much considering his largely underwhelming
play in previous seasons, seems to have found a home in this new formation; unfortunately, can we really expect this oft - injured player to handle the taxing duties that come with said position over the long haul, not to mention, it looks like he has no intention of staying... Ramsey has relied on the empathy that stems from his gruesome injury years ago and the excitement that was generated a few years back when he finally seemed to put in altogether, but on the whole he has been a big disappointment (neither he nor the Ox have scored enough to warrant a regular spot)... Wiltshire should be put on a weekly contract then
played until he suffers his
first injury, if and when that occurs he should be shipped - out and no one should very be allowed to say his name on club grounds ever again... Elnehy & Coq are average players who couldn't make any of the top 7
teams currently in the EPL... both have showed some great energy on the pitch, but neither are top quality and no good
team can afford to have that many average players on their bench
playing the same position, especially with Coq's injury history / discipline concerns and Elheny's headless chicken tendencies... as
for Xhaka, his tenure here so far has been incredibly underwhelming... we know he has some skills to provide the long ball but his defensive work is piss poor and he gives the ball away too cheaply and far too often... finally, the enigma himself, Ozil, so much skill with his left foot but his presence has been more frustrating than uplifting... in many respects his failure has been directly related to the failure of this club to provide him with the necessary players up front, minus Sanchez of course, and unless something drastic happens very soon his legacy will be largely a negative one (much like Wenger's)
Mertz should
never have been our captain in the
first place... who has ever heard of a
team that makes 11th hour transfer buys (Arteta & Mertz) then seemingly places those same individuals into prominent leadership positions from the get - go... indicative of the problems that have permeated our clubhouse
for the better part of 7 years under the Kroenke & Wenger... what is wrong with the players chosen and / or the management style of Wenger that doesn't develop and / or encourage strong leadership from within... Mertz was the fine collecting lackey from year one... this is what happens when you don't get world - class players because many times they want to have a voice on and off the pitch and this can't happen when you
play for a fragile manager who has developed a coddling wage structure where everyone is rewarded
for simply wearing the shirt and participating in the process... not enough balance between performance and pay, combined with the obvious favoritism shown to some players regardless of their glaring lack of production... remember that Ramsey has
played in positions that make no sense considering his skill - set (out wide) and has forced other players off the field or into equally unfamiliar positions with little or no justification (let's remember when you read articles about how Ramsey's goals this upcoming season being the potential X-factor
for our success that this is the same individual who didn't score a goal until the final week last season)... this of course is just one example of many... before I hear another word from Mertz I want this club to address the fact that no former player of any real consequence has any important role in the management structure of this club, yet several former Gunners have expressed serious interest in just such an endeavor (Henry, Viera, Adams, Bergkamp... just to name a few legends)... there is only one answer: an extremely insecure manager!!!
Up front we have a few world - class players surrounded by some serious pretenders... Sanchez is by far the most accomplished player in our attack but the controversy surrounding his contractual mishandling could see him go before the window closes or most definitely by season's end... obviously a mistake by both parties involved, as Sanchez's exploits have
never been more on display than in North London, but the club's irresponsible wage structure and lack of real intent have been the real undoing in this mess... Lacazette, who I think has some world - class skills as a front man, will only be as good as the players and system around him, which is troubling due to our current roster and Wenger's love of sideways passing... Walcott should have been sold years ago, enough said, and Welbeck should
never have been brought in from the get - go... both of these players have suffered numerous injuries over their respective careers and neither are good enough to overcome such difficulties: not to mention, they both are below average
first - touch players, which should be the baseline test
for any player coming to a Wenger - led Arsenal
team... Perez should have been
played wide left or
never purchased at all; what a huge waste of time and money, which is ridiculous considering our penny pinching ways and the fact that fans had been clamoring
for a real striker
for years... finally Giroud, the fact that he stills wears the jersey is a direct indictment of this club's failure to get things right... this isn't necessarily an attack on Giroud because I think he has some highly valued skills, but not
for a
team that has struggled to take their sideways soccer to the next level, as his presence slows their game even more, combined with our average, at best, finishing skills... far too often those in charge have either settled or chosen half - measures and ultimately it is us that suffer because no matter what happens Wenger, Gazidis and Kroenke will always make more money whereas we will always be the ones paying
for their mistakes... so every time someone suggests we should just shut - up and support the
team just think of all the sacrifices you've made along the way and simply reply... f *** off
This is the
first season he train with Arsenal (he
never played for our youth
team due to work permit problem), Wenger may want him learn to
play the Arsenal way and know his teammate better.
Maybe he's not in fitt but the talent
never leave. If you take a new player and wait him
for developing you can wait as mutch as
for Walcott. But Wilshere is one of the best English players after Rooney, at the same level with Sterling I can say.Is a briliant player when he's in fitt, let's be honest when he
play bad, our
team play bad to, if he wasn't injuried now when our
team play well, I'm sure he
play well too.We need a new midfielder this summer, I think Gotze could be perfect
for creation with Wilshere, and Coquelin in their back to secure defence.I don't know why but when I see this to player's
first, in 2010 - 2011, I see them as better as Iniesta - Xavi.
am tired of wenger.the man has got good skills, but somehow he fails to address basic issues in the
team like buying a striker and a cdm in the last summer.at one time, arsenal had good squad but had a keeper who at times committed mistakes i.e almunia.then after ozil came and arsenal were
first in december, all wenger had to do was buy a pacy striker with eye
for goal.but wenger did nt so obviously and instead bought an injured kallstrom.agreed ppl fans will keep saying managers shud hav
played this guy or that one and so.but in case of wenger, its abt ignoring
team issues t (to prove a point he can win without listening to critics and the fans which he
never will), and then
playing players out of form, out of position, and buying players that do nt fit ur style like giroud!!
did I asked
for that... Didn't you get me when I said we are 11 yrs without EPL title
never mind the CL... what joy do you find in a drought... You know that FA are not up to the level of EPL and CL... Your Wenger use to
play the kids in FA... and when he felt the pressure of going all these years without a single trophy he started to
play his
first team in FA cup to get in the comfort zone that you are giving him now...
I just don't even knoe what goes through Wenger's head.A player keeps
playing and causing harm to the
team and yet is allowed to
play every week when there are far better players on the bench.Xhaka is so bad and I wish he
never signed
for Arsenal in the
first place. If we're going to talk about potential I think Niles has more potential than Xhaka and is already the much better player.
Elabdellaoui
first signed with Manchester City back in 2011 but
never played for the City
first team.
even when he suffered a serious knee injury, instead of accepting the fact that he would
never stick his legs into the spaces that were crucial
for someone with straight ahead speed to succeed, the club actually contemplated giving him a chance to
play up top where his lack of physicality, size and holding up
play talents would been on display
for all to see... these are not the actions of a club that really cares about winning at the highest levels, but they are the actions of a club that wasn't interested in spending the necessary resources to purchases a world - class striker, which is usually the most expensive position on the pitch... instead we adopted the horrible phrase «like a new signing» and proceeded to allow this ridiculous experiment to carry on, which ultimately caused some discomfort on the training pitch and inside the locker room as players battled
for a position that shouldn't have been theirs
for the taking in the
first place... don't get me wrong, I believe that Walcott is a talented player, who can help a
team reach their goals, if their goals are relatively modest... just look at the
teams who supposedly expressed interest in his services and they weren't the kind of clubs who aspire to win at the highest levels... as
for the reasons why he hasn't been bitching and moaning about moving on just look at the wage benefits he receives from our club and his obvious desire to enjoy the societal advantages that come with
playing in North London
for a club with worldwide appeal... so instead of continuing to try to fix a coat with a broken zipper simply move on and buy a new and better coat
Nothing like one underachiever blowing smoke up the ass of another... we know that Ozil has some incredible technical gifts, but to be considered the best you have to bring more than just assists to the table...
for me, a top player has to possess a more well - rounded game, which doesn't mean they need to be a beast on both ends of the pitch, but they must have the ability to take their game to another level when it matters most... although he amassed some record - like stats early on, it set the bar too high, so when people expected him to duplicate those numbers each year the pressure seemed to get the best of our soft - spoken star... obviously that's not an excuse
for what has happened in the meantime, but it's important to make note of a few things: (1) his best year was a transition year
for many of the traditionally dominant
teams in the EPL, so that clearly made the numbers appear better than they actually were and (2) Wenger's system, or lack thereof, didn't do him any favours; by
playing him out of position and by not acquiring world - class striker and / or right - side forward that would best fit an Ozil - centered offensive scheme certainly hurt his chances to repeat his earlier peformances, (3) the loss of Cazorla, who took a lot of pressure off Ozil in the midfield and was highly efficient when it came to getting him the ball in space, negatively impacted his effectiveness and (4) he likewise missed a good chunk of games and frankly
never looked himself when he eventually returned to the field... overall the Ozil experiment has had mixed reviews and rightfully so, but I do have some empathy
for the man because he has always carried himself the same way, whether
for Real or the German National
team, yet he has only suffered any lengthy down periods with Arsenal... to me that goes directly to this club's inability to surround him with the necessary players to succeed, especially
for someone who is a pass
first type of player; as such, this simply highlights our club's ineffective and antiquated transfer policies... frankly I'm disappointed in both Ozil and our management
team for not stepping up when it counted because they had a chance to do something special, but they didn't have it in them... there is no one that better exemplifies our recent history than Ozil, brief moments of greatness undercut by long periods of disappointing
play, only made worse by his mopey posturing like a younger slightly less awkward Wenger... what a terribly waste
He said: «I had been there
for so long but I
never played for the
first -
team, only the academy.
Realistically, they have a star who's missed 2.5 of his
first 3 NBA seasons with chronic foot issues, two others who couldn't even lead their college
teams to the NIT and have
never played a game in the NBA, and a stunning lack of quality bench players
for a
team that's made 21 draft selections in the past 4 years.
He has just come off a two - month suspension, and though he is back with his club side, Somerset, his future on England's national
team — from which he has
never been dropped
for cricketing reasons since he
first played for his country in 1977 — looks worse than bleak.
We should rely on an inexperienced 19 year old RB who has
never played a competitive game
for Arsenal's
first team in his entire career?
never waste CAPITAL LETTERS on an article about Chambers at this juncture... I still can't believe that no one from management has ever explained why such a frugal club spent so much money on him in the
first place... we haggle
for months and years with clubs
for players who could have a monumental impact on the very future of our club but somehow we found $ 16 million
for someone who couldn't regularly crack a Southampton lineup (very fishy)... don't get me wrong, I like what he showed at times last season in Middlesbourogh but from the handful of games I watched him
play I still have some serious questions about his consistency as a back - line player in the EPL; as such he should prove himself on loan
for another season, making sure that he goes to a
team that wants him in the starting 11... bottom line, let's not get bogged down with the semantics of peripheral players and focus on the real task at hand = figure out who the hell is going to be our starting 11
for the foreseeable future, which means getting contracts signed, getting rid of a lot of deadwood and bringing in talented players into the positions which truly need upgrading... the rest is just unnecessary noise
The English midfielder Jack Wilshere spent the
first six months of this season begging Arsene Wenger to talk to him about a contract extension at Arsenal, but the Boss kept putting him off by saying that he would talk to him before the January transfer window despite Wilshere making it clear that he
never wanted to
play for any other
team but Arsenal.
OG is awesome this season, brilliant
first touch, link up
play is world class, bullies defenders
for 90 minutes,
never hides, does not get injured, is tucking away his chances vs big and small
teams.
Also coqulin has started to annoy me, when he
first had his resurgence to the
first team he was the ideal CDM we needed, intercepting tacking, quick simple passes to the
team, tracking back, marking the real deal but these days he tries to
play like a CAM taking on players, dribbling and SHOOTING despite
never actually scoring once
for us.
Unfortunately
for the Belfast - born defender he
never made a

Although he's
never played in the
first team for Burnley, he's been on the bench a number of times, the
first occasion being the game at Millwall in January 2013.
to all newcastle intruders, the debates will
never ends here bcos there is no referee in this blog, but one thing is
for sure is that ur
team were no where near to our standard of
playing soccer if u
play fair game like in the
first half.
The 27 - year - old started his career in the Manchester United reserves,
first signing on his 16th birthday, but
never saw
first -
team action and eventually moved to Sweden
playing for his hometown side, Molde FK.
Also I must say Roy Keane is the only footballer past or present that has had the ability to make all others around them up their game, ive
never known anybody else like him past or present,
for a decade he was the
first name on SAF
team sheet before Cantana, scholes, giggs, beckham stam and the rest, the reason why he was the
first name on the
team was because he was the most important player, probably in the whole of the Sir Alex era, and to say Carrick was more important than Keane and Scholes does not surprise me with you Opik (You claimed we should sell RVP and Rooney to
play Bebe and Welbeck) but it once again proves you talk complete bollocks
The financial arguments
for keeping him are well laid out in the article above and LFC would still be able to take the same benefits as outlined by Andy Wales even if he
never plays another
first team game
for LFC.
He
played originally
for Benfica before moving in 2011 to Parma although he
never made a
first team appearance

what a joke!how can we go from absolutely dominating one half to complete self destruction in the second?watching us in the
first half I would have said no
team in the league could have lived with us,
never mind bloody Tottenham!second half were shocking.what was bales goal all about?a hoof over the top and our defence all taken out in one go.the second was an even bigger farce.why the hell couldn't cesc just head the thing.we should have been out of sight by then.what kind of striker is chamakh?what is his problem.twice he was
played clean through and he had no intention of going
for goal.work rate is all well and good and being able to put it in from 3 yards but if he is going to lead the line he needs to have a proper strikers instinct.sure enough if we give away enough stupid free kicks then the opposition will score because we cant defend and thats exactly what happened.we'll be winning nothing unless we buy some players with spines and balls.getting beat to 2 newly promoted
teams and spurs at home.way to let chelsea off the hook fellas.what did wenger say yesterday...» best squad ive ever had....
Johnstone, 25, has
