I think Ramsey play better coming off the bench, when ever he's in the starting eleven he rarely scores a goal, he gives the ball away far to often and sometimes in dangerous positions, he makes straight forward passes or the simple passes, I've never seen him make a defense splitting pass or a through ball, the only positive about him starting a match is his engine, he will definitely cover a lot of ground but i think we need more of a creative or Attacking CM in that position because of the back three formation.

let's call it as we see it, regardless of being played out of position by Le Prof, he lacks ambition, he needs to sweat the shirt the same as his teammates, I don't expect him to be a Sanchez, but dammit he needs to vamp his game... he was never the same after the loss (massacre) to Mancity when after the game BFG complaint about his attitude towards the Fans.
Let's face it the full back position is one that rarely grabs the headlines and never gets the plaudits it deserves but when you think about it the wide defensive position can be key both to the success of the back line as well as the potency of the club's attacking play.
Chambers — had a great season you look at the amount of football Bellerin has played recently and chambers has hardly featured but Chambers has still played a lot more minutes of football than bellerin this season not a natural right back but did a great job earlier in the season and a more central position looks to be where he'll play in the future but he was never going to be first choice straight away.

I feel a bit for him because he was liekwise given promises about our direction and they never materialized; that being said he needs to grow up sometimes and find a way to handle the pressure a little better... In the midfield, (including RWB & LWB) we have a whole bunch of tweeners... none offer the full package, none make sense in our manager's current favourite formation, except for Sead on the left and Ox on the right, and all of them have never shown any consistency for more than a heartbeat... Sead, who I'm including in this category because of our present formation, looks like a positive addition, minus his occasional brain farts, but I would rather see what he could do in a back 4 before making my mind up... Ox, who has never played better, which isn't saying much considering his largely underwhelming play in previous seasons, seems to have found a home in this new formation; unfortunately, can we really expect this oft - injured player to handle the taxing duties that come with said position over the long haul, not to mention, it looks like he has no intention of staying... Ramsey has relied on the empathy that stems from his gruesome injury years ago and the excitement that was generated a few years back when he finally seemed to put in altogether, but on the whole he has been a big disappointment (neither he nor the Ox have scored enough to warrant a regular spot)... Wiltshire should be put on a weekly contract then played until he suffers his first injury, if and when that occurs he should be shipped - out and no one should very be allowed to say his name on club grounds ever again... Elnehy & Coq are average players who couldn't make any of the top 7 teams currently in the EPL... both have showed some great energy on the pitch, but neither are top quality and no good team can afford to have that many average players on their bench playing the same position, especially with Coq's injury history / discipline concerns and Elheny's headless chicken tendencies... as for Xhaka, his tenure here so far has been incredibly underwhelming... we know he has some skills to provide the long ball but his defensive work is piss poor and he gives the ball away too cheaply and far too often... finally, the enigma himself, Ozil, so much skill with his left foot but his presence has been more frustrating than uplifting... in many respects his failure has been directly related to the failure of this club to provide him with the necessary players up front, minus Sanchez of course, and unless something drastic happens very soon his legacy will be largely a negative one (much like Wenger's)
The funny thing is Giroud who does track back would never be made to play in another position for a string of games to try and develop him, Wenger would stick with him up front and will do even with Welbeck's superior movement and pace.
Its funny how when ozil transforms into absolute dogsh * t just because hes playing outwide (a position he has played many times in his career) its wengers fault, but when monreal plays poor at cb (a position hes never played in his life) its all his fault and his sh*t.

Mertz should never have been our captain in the first place... who has ever heard of a team that makes 11th hour transfer buys (Arteta & Mertz) then seemingly places those same individuals into prominent leadership positions from the get - go... indicative of the problems that have permeated our clubhouse for the better part of 7 years under the Kroenke & Wenger... what is wrong with the players chosen and / or the management style of Wenger that doesn't develop and / or encourage strong leadership from within... Mertz was the fine collecting lackey from year one... this is what happens when you don't get world - class players because many times they want to have a voice on and off the pitch and this can't happen when you play for a fragile manager who has developed a coddling wage structure where everyone is rewarded for simply wearing the shirt and participating in the process... not enough balance between performance and pay, combined with the obvious favoritism shown to some players regardless of their glaring lack of production... remember that Ramsey has played in positions that make no sense considering his skill - set (out wide) and has forced other players off the field or into equally unfamiliar positions with little or no justification (let's remember when you read articles about how Ramsey's goals this upcoming season being the potential X-factor for our success that this is the same individual who didn't score a goal until the final week last season)... this of course is just one example of many... before I hear another word from Mertz I want this club to address the fact that no former player of any real consequence has any important role in the management structure of this club, yet several former Gunners have expressed serious interest in just such an endeavor (Henry, Viera, Adams, Bergkamp... just to name a few legends)... there is only one answer: an extremely insecure manager!!!
On talent alone he is among our top 5 players of this squad hands down (Özil, Sanchez, Cazorla, Ramsey and him): 1) We our in a strong position financially so no need to sell 2) He will never be all time goal scorer but if he gets healthy and starts playing more and more and even get a full season unscathed under is belt he could be something special 3) He has the passion, the love and the drive to be a captain and would be a great one with maturity 4) Can be one of the all time greats if he is consistent!
Agreed all you Wenger bashers and player knockers eat Ya heart out instead of always thinking you know best get behind Arsenal sure they are gonna have a bad day but look how many players out and players available having to play out of position Would Chelsea, City United be where they are if half there team were injured let's give Wenger some credit he never says when they lose it is because of injuries get behind him and the team we will be up there CB
I would like to tell arsenal fan that the transfer window is not arsenal's problem.Let explain what is in my mind.We need to reinforce our team but we need to think in the future that most of the high class players are going to refuse signing for arsenal fc because of Mr Wenger's philosophy. It looks like arsenal becomes cemetery of players. How many players came in and left because of performance, became good players out of arsenal. We need to accept all of the transformation Mr wenger brings in arsenal but now it does not work. Why??? because lack of tactics, strategies and pretending best players for Mr wenger mind but in reality those players do not get standard of best player.Mr wenger wants to prove everybody that he is wright that players who are calling by wenger are best.I means Mr wenger is the only one can see all matter in good position or bad.He is wrong by thinking this way.He does not like criticism.he is the mind of arsenal.Everything he can say or defend is wright.Think about morrinho comments about arsenal!!!! Why he likes to be arsenal coach!!!! One thing I want to say about arsenal players, I think everybody watch arsenal games. We have got short mind players who play two good games and the rest shameless. They are working hard in the training ground for catching Mr wenger's mind to let them play; what is behind their (players) mind to be the most regular players. Those players have no vision even ambition; they are never becoming high class and their carriers are going to finish in arsenal after arsenal we are going to see them playing for championship. They do not care to become legend as Ian wright, Vierra, Berckam, piress, Henry... What is the big behind their mind to use wenger name to be selected in national team. They are not able to face different leagues in the world.
If i here Wenger defending his defence still after another poor defensive display im going to go crazy, Monreal is not good enough to even play for us in his favoured position never mind as a CB!
off Topic (as this topic is of no importance in this grieving moment)...... Ok, the BFG or what ever u call him, have just proven his irrelevance to this team (wasted heights, useless in duels), misfiring carzola was let 2 continue, ramsey wasnt himself yet was forced 2 play, monreal will never be a dream CB, 80th minute subs as usual (then players are played outta position), Wenger Loves his coat and zippers more than the team, who's next?

«And during those games, you'll not only get to hear announcers try every Jake Butt pun imaginable, you'll see Jabrill Peppers play at least a dozen positions, a defensive line that is completely capable of dismantling QBs (including consensus No. 1 2016 recruit Rashan Gary), and Harbaugh turning a QB you've never heard of into the next elite NFL thrower.

The problem is when you have an average defensive midfielder then your backline can never be at rest.Coquelin should have started this match. Some people think he's average but I feel he's been played out of position and being tasked with doing too much like a box to box player. How can someone who bases his game on tackling and interception lose that ability all of a sudden and you tell me nothing's wrong but bdcause he's average. Are we fans going to ignore what is plain to us?Let's just pretend things are alright. Then after we win the cracks will be papered only for them to be exposed another day.
I've never understood it when people compare players that play in different positions, you just can not do that.
