Jeremy i am surprised you never countered my argument Up till now the above view has been my understanding however things change when the holy spirit speaks. He amazes me because its always new never old and it reveals why we often misunderstand scripture in the case of the woman caught in adultery. We see how she was condemned to die and by the grace of God Jesus came to her rescue that seems familar to all of us then when they were alone he said to her Go and sin no more. This is the point we misunderstand prior to there meeting it was all about her death when she encountered Jesus something incredible happened he turned a death situation into life situation so from our background as sinners we still in our thinking and understanding dwell in the darkness our minds are closed to the truth. In effect what Jesus was saying to her and us is chose life and do nt look back that is what he meant and that is the walk we need to live for him. That to me was a revelation it was always there but hidden.Does it change that we need discipline in the church that we need rules and guidelines for our actions no we still need those things. But does it change how we view non believers and even ourselves definitely its not about sin but its all about choosing life and living. He also revealed some other interesting things on salvation so i might mention those on the once saved always saved discussion.Jeremy just want to say i really appreciate your website because i have not really discussed issues like this and it really is making me press in to the Lord for answers to some of those really difficult questions.regards brentnz

whether for the right or wrong reasons, our leader chose to stay on when things took a turn of sorts... a new owner arrived on the scene, plans for a new stadium emerged and Wenger became the bearer of bad news... he sold us on a new story, one that required patience on our parts... financial constraints were the order of the day, so that the enormous sums spent on the new venue could be recouped... although some would question the validity of such claims, why wouldn't they believe their faithful leader... according to those within the hierarchy, the future never looked so bright, as this new home would ensure our place among the elites for years to come... as we all know now these claims were a well constructed fabrication and so those who feel they were duped in the process are infuriated and rightly so... the fact that this club and it's manager have continually misled the fans, especially following Gazidis's claims about our financial liquidity, simply rubbed more salt in an already gaping wound... this surely isn't how you treat your «family», especially when they supported you through the supposed «lean» years... it was a dirty trick played by Kroenke but the fact is was orchestrated by Wenger himself hurt the most... as for those in the media, many of whom are former players or longtime pundits, who observed the early years firsthand, saw this as the perfect opportunity to vent the anger they felt towards this pretentious man once and for all... all in all, karma's a bitch

This isn't a case of «what have you done for me lately» as that would imply that things went off the rails fairly recently, and it's certainly not a change simply for the sake of change scenario, as we're not so naive to believe that this alone would guarantee long - term success, this is a measured response based on YEARS of questionable decisions, failed tactics, boardroom blunders, unprecedented losses and a level of dishonesty never before seen at our club.
The thing is, if you never saw Hurst when he's busting his ass, you might not think of that second play a as a loaf.
I would like to tell arsenal fan that the transfer window is not arsenal's problem.Let explain what is in my mind.We need to reinforce our team but we need to think in the future that most of the high class players are going to refuse signing for arsenal fc because of Mr Wenger's philosophy. It looks like arsenal becomes cemetery of players. How many players came in and left because of performance, became good players out of arsenal. We need to accept all of the transformation Mr wenger brings in arsenal but now it does not work. Why??? because lack of tactics, strategies and pretending best players for Mr wenger mind but in reality those players do not get standard of best player.Mr wenger wants to prove everybody that he is wright that players who are calling by wenger are best.I means Mr wenger is the only one can see all matter in good position or bad.He is wrong by thinking this way.He does not like criticism.he is the mind of arsenal.Everything he can say or defend is wright.Think about morrinho comments about arsenal!!!! Why he likes to be arsenal coach!!!! One thing I want to say about arsenal players, I think everybody watch arsenal games. We have got short mind players who play two good games and the rest shameless. They are working hard in the training ground for catching Mr wenger's mind to let them play; what is behind their (players) mind to be the most regular players. Those players have no vision even ambition; they are never becoming high class and their carriers are going to finish in arsenal after arsenal we are going to see them playing for championship. They do not care to become legend as Ian wright, Vierra, Berckam, piress, Henry... What is the big behind their mind to use wenger name to be selected in national team. They are not able to face different leagues in the world.
Up front we have a few world - class players surrounded by some serious pretenders... Sanchez is by far the most accomplished player in our attack but the controversy surrounding his contractual mishandling could see him go before the window closes or most definitely by season's end... obviously a mistake by both parties involved, as Sanchez's exploits have never been more on display than in North London, but the club's irresponsible wage structure and lack of real intent have been the real undoing in this mess... Lacazette, who I think has some world - class skills as a front man, will only be as good as the players and system around him, which is troubling due to our current roster and Wenger's love of sideways passing... Walcott should have been sold years ago, enough said, and Welbeck should never have been brought in from the get - go... both of these players have suffered numerous injuries over their respective careers and neither are good enough to overcome such difficulties: not to mention, they both are below average first - touch players, which should be the baseline test for any player coming to a Wenger - led Arsenal team... Perez should have been played wide left or never purchased at all; what a huge waste of time and money, which is ridiculous considering our penny pinching ways and the fact that fans had been clamoring for a real striker for years... finally Giroud, the fact that he stills wears the jersey is a direct indictment of this club's failure to get things right... this isn't necessarily an attack on Giroud because I think he has some highly valued skills, but not for a team that has struggled to take their sideways soccer to the next level, as his presence slows their game even more, combined with our average, at best, finishing skills... far too often those in charge have either settled or chosen half - measures and ultimately it is us that suffer because no matter what happens Wenger, Gazidis and Kroenke will always make more money whereas we will always be the ones paying for their mistakes... so every time someone suggests we should just shut - up and support the team just think of all the sacrifices you've made along the way and simply reply... f *** off
@Wall2Wall But surely it's there for all to see that it's happening, that's the important issue.Im not saying Gazidis did not deserve the criticism he was getting at the time, but that «Catylis For Change» statement was a bold and gutsy thing to say as he was putting his own neck on the line, which is something the management and board of this club have never been prepared to do in the past.
In wenger we trust COYG u spoilt little brats, you muppets ain't even been tested in your arsenal fan career never seen your club finish lower then fourth every year we play in cl against the big boys and you lot act like were in crisis and things are so bad wow I'm beyond belief just can't get my head around the way you lot act sometimes step back a bit a think a little you twats most of you in your life time have never seen your team finish lower then fourth yes fûc #ing fourth most of you don't even no what it's like to be a real fan wen your team are struggling finishing mid table and still saying you love the club and protect them never in my life have I heard a generation of arsenal fans critise manager players board everything about our club wen things our knowere near as bad as you make out to be and could be.

That is a very good articles Wenger shou; ld never have been given a new contract he has completeky lossed the plot and if he is allowed to stay on things will get steaderly worse with our team I have supported Arsenal for over 70 years and we have had some bad times during that period but I have never felt the way I feel at the moment I really hate Wenger now and have never said that about any of our managers before But really believe Wenger will destroy our great club I believe the Boerd of Directors plus Usmanvof should out vote Kronke and make Usmanof the new Chairman then Usmanof will then sack Wenger As he said he would do if he was Chaiman then we could appoint a new Manager the one from Juventus or Atletico Madrid and Start to see Arsenal begin to be great again
You saying it's fans like me who are settlers is totally pointless. In my comments I never said I was settling no didn't want change. The way you said «stupid team» and «coach out of his depths» is what I was referring to.In fact I want a change today and I'm tired of seeing thing go on like this so don't come here and pretend like you are the only one who wants a change and think I'm part of those who settle for this. When I also see people predicting Arsenal's positions and they are so certain about it it makes me laugh and think of them as naive.Trust me there's no wrong for a person to predict a team's position but it's naive for a person to be certain about it and people come and quote sayings like «no one knows tomorrow».
Walking out on a cup final early is poor saying the things after is poor we have had the most consistancy of any pl club for 20 years it goes bad we lose and we show no honor in defeat i never mentioned wenger i mentioned the lack of support in a cup final was sad and by walking out it showed we've been spoiled city did nt leave the semi early last year when we beat em they did nt leave early wehen they lost in league one and i cant stand city im arsenal through and through we won a cup last year and the year before were in another cup final and tempemental fans leave early even though it takes alot to get to a cup final maybe you need to lose more to lose respectable its hard it sucks but its a cup final bigger than the management our opinions for a day its about how you show you solidarity as a club win or lose every other club in england would of taken our spot in a heartbeat if they could of and we lea e early that shows spoilage and it was embarrassing to see we need to be stronger as supporters newcastle does nt like ashley yet they still show up and when was the last time they won a cup?
Emirates stadium and huge sponsor deals we finally have had two poor years by his standards at the helm we always havent been so great and are we weak supporters or strong give him a contract i mean hes won with ants for money let him spend for once cause even if we do get new manager inflation has occured and no body else will win with the small amounts we gave him to spend and in 20 years actuall more it seems the club is finally willing to spend give him a contract let him spend and if we do nt improve which i think we will i think that the club is finally willing to spend shows were on an upturn because as long as top four the owner and board weren't and after we spend big or somewhat big for once and auba and mkhitaryan arent the big im hoping for i want more if liverpoodlians can pay 75million for a cb let wenget spend a bit and if we still do bad we can always sack him or ask him to leave wouldnt be uncommon but we owe it to him and do nt say we do not because emirates london colney that will bring in high talent here for years to come and we have never spent for him just gave little and hes always done big things with little i think he can do bigger things in his final years if we give him big i do nt see us in decline but if we sack him we will be for a good three maybe four years
Some fans (well, the delusional ones) said that Wenger was becoming ruthless as he got Cech... Transfer who was sanctioned by the Chelsea owner (without Mourinho clearance) and we know it would have never happened in other cases (no «balls» in our camp to shake things up, always playing fair or «p*ss y» like... Saw Gazidis interview with those people from Arsenal fan tv who could not even ask the hard questions, but were trembling because the «money man» was out... It was embarrassing to see...!)
For a long time it looked as though we may never see the superb little Spaniard playing for the Gunners again as he has had no less than eight surgical procedures since he last played, but as reported by the Daily Star things are looking good for his return before too long and Cazorla is now working hard to get fit.
Time for some brutal honesty... this team, as it stands, is in no better position to compete next season than they were 12 months ago, minus the fact that some fans have been easily snowed by the acquisition of Lacazette, the free transfer LB and the release of Sanogo... if you look at the facts carefully you will see a team that still has far more questions than answers... to better show what I mean by this statement I will briefly discuss the current state of affairs on a position - by - position basis... in goal we have 4 potential candidates, but in reality we have only 1 option with any real future and somehow he's the only one we have actively tried to get rid of for years because he and his father were a little too involved on social media and he got caught smoking (funny how people still defend Wiltshire under the same and far worse circumstances)... you would think we would want to keep any goaltender that Juventus had interest in, as they seem to have a pretty good history when it comes to that position... as far as the defenders on our current roster there are only a few individuals whom have the skill and / or youth worthy of our time and / or investment, as such we should get rid of anyone who doesn't meet those simple requirements, which means we should get rid of DeBouchy, Gibbs, Gabriel, Mertz and loan out Chambers to see if last seasons foray with Middlesborough was an anomaly or a prediction of things to come... some fans have lamented wildly about the return of Mertz to the starting lineup due to his FA Cup performance but these sort of pie in the sky meanderings are indicative of what's wrong with this club and it's wishy - washy fan - base... in addition to these moves the club should aggressively pursue the acquisition of dominant and mobile CB to stabilize an all too fragile defensive group that has self - destructed on numerous occasions over the past 5 seasons... moving forward and building on our need to re-establish our once dominant presence throughout the middle of the park we need to target a CDM then do whatever it takes to get that player into the fold without any of the usual nickel and diming we have become famous for (this kind of ruthless haggling has cost us numerous special players and certainly can't help make the player in question feel good about the way their future potential employer feels about them)... in order for us to become dominant again we need to be strong up the middle again from Goalkeeper to CB to DM to ACM to striker, like we did in our most glorious years before and during Wenger's reign... with this in mind, if we want Ozil to be that dominant attacking midfielder we can't keep leaving him exposed to constant ridicule about his lack of defensive prowess and provide him with the proper players in the final third... he was never a good defensive player in Real or with the German National squad and they certainly didn't suffer as a result of his presence on the pitch... as for the rest of the midfield the blame falls squarely in the hands of Wenger and Gazidis, the fact that Ramsey, Ox, Sanchez and even Ozil were allowed to regularly start when none of the aforementioned had more than a year left under contract is criminal for a club of this size and financial might... the fact that we could find money for Walcott and Xhaka, who weren't even guaranteed starters, means that our whole business model needs a complete overhaul... for me it's time to get rid of some serious deadweight, even if it means selling them below what you believe their market value is just to simply right this ship and change the stagnant culture that currently exists... this means saying goodbye to Wiltshire, Elneny, Carzola, Walcott and Ramsey... everyone, minus Elneny, have spent just as much time on the training table as on the field of play, which would be manageable if they weren't so inconsistent from a performance standpoint (excluding Carzola, who is like the recent version of Rosicky — too bad, both will be deeply missed)... in their places we need to bring in some proven performers with no history of injuries... up front, although I do like the possibilities that a player like Lacazette presents, the fact that we had to wait so many years to acquire some true quality at the striker position falls once again squarely at the feet of Wenger... this issue highlights the ultimate scam being perpetrated by this club since the arrival of Kroenke: pretend your a small market club when it comes to making purchases but milk your fans like a big market club when it comes to ticket prices and merchandising... I believe the reason why Wenger hasn't pursued someone of Henry's quality, minus a fairly inexpensive RVP, was that he knew that they would demand players of a similar ilk to be brought on board and that wasn't possible when the business model was that of a «selling» club... does it really make sense that we could only make a cheeky bid for Suarez, or that we couldn't get Higuain over the line when he was being offered up for half the price he eventually went to Juve for, or that we've only paid any interest to strikers who were clearly not going to press their current teams to let them go to Arsenal like Benzema or Cavani... just part of the facade that finally came crashing down when Sanchez finally called their bluff... the fact remains that no one wants to win more than Sanchez, including Wenger, and although I don't agree with everything that he has done off the field, I would much rather have Alexis front and center than a manager who has clearly bought into the Kroenke model in large part due to the fact that his enormous ego suggests that only he could accomplish great things without breaking the bank... unfortunately that isn't possible anymore as the game has changed quite dramatically in the last 15 years, which has left a largely complacent and complicit Wenger on the outside looking in... so don't blame those players who demanded more and were left wanting... don't blame those fans who have tried desperately to raise awareness for several years when cracks began to appear... place the blame at the feet of those who were well aware all along of the potential pitfalls of just such a plan but continued to follow it even when it was no longer a financial necessity, like it ever really was...
Admin yes your right but we are always short somewhere every season and lets not forget we have bought a few defenders but all not up to scratch (Mustafi, Chambers, Holding, Gabriel, Debuchy, Mertesacker ect...) but at least after RVP left we never had such good strikers as we have now late but its a good thing, i believe we have great creative attacking midfield but we have never replaced Viera, Adams, Campbell or Seaman, i wanted arsenal to buy VVD when he was at Celtic why i can see that and our top professionals at the club can not?
The thing is we often play sides like Watford so that style gets seen as our norm, we rarely face three contrasting opponents in quick succession so the tactical changes are never as evident.
Its nice to see some people have open there eyes but all is true lets ask our selves have this team change from last season where are the experienced players that wenger talked about he selling us bull and every season he gets away with it the fans deserve better am from the caribbean so chance r i might never get to see arsenal live at the emirates because its too expensive at least the club should be winning things i know its important to balance the books you must BUT football is about trophies as well and thats were the balance lies how the hell can we go Six (6) seasons yes 6 without a trophy not even a FA cup or carling cup and no one says a word about the manager that is rubbish Arsenal live in the past too much the time is now this season for me is the absolute last for wenger to win something i do nt care how much money he has made the club and Wenger if you cant bring that then go work for an oil company and make them money and leave arsenal to a manager who is willing to win something not only buy players for 10 million who take 10 years to develop am frustrated with this man.
What I know is I'll never visit that horrible site as I'll never convince the lunatics on there to see things my way, and frankly why would I bother.
I know that is old fashioned, and that by no means is set in stone, but I never saw that as a bad thing until I started reading this, (and countless like it) and seeing that the same view is overwhelmingly not shared by women.
