NEW YORK, February 1, 2012 — Asia Society Museum
Director Melissa Chiu previews the upcoming Asia Society Museum
exhibition Princes and Painters in Mughal Delhi, 1707 — 1857, on view from February 7 to May 6, 2012.
These artists will be commissioned to create
new works on view in
exhibitions at the PinchukArtCentre in Kyiv and the Venice Biennale, curated by Björn Geldhof (artistic
director, PinchukArtCentre).
As executive
director and CEO, Grachos has brought ambitious
exhibitions of
new work and site - specific commissions at both of The Contemporary's sites by leading contemporary artists such as Garth Weiser, Ryan Gander, Anya Gallaccio, Monika Sosnowska, Tom Sachs, Paul McCarthy, Janine Antoni, Tom Friedman, Liam Gillick, Marianne Vitale, Charles Long, and Do Ho Suh.
This
exhibition of 22 American Abstract Artists and guest exhibitors was curated by Kat Griefen,
director of A.I.R. Gallery in
New York City.

new reading of the artist, which reflects the clarity and scholarship of Hans Janssen, the Gemeentemuseum's Mondrian Curator since 1991, and a world expert on Mondrian and De Stijl.
The

director Indira Cesarine, will feature over fifty watercolors by the artist, who will be presenting a
new series of large - scale watercolor paintings along with many of her signature works.
