In my town, one of the most popular places for
new and seasoned artists to share their work is an
outdoor gallery called Freak Alley.
In conjunction with the book launch, «do it» will have a slew of participatory events worldwide throughout the year — including the very first
outdoor «do it» at
New York's Socrates Sculpture Park (through July 7)-- and a comprehensive show at the Manchester Art
Gallery in England, which features the inaugural edition of DO iT TV, will go up in July.

Grounds for Sculpture: Located in Hamilton, NJ on the former
New Jersey State Fairgrounds, the Grounds for Sculpture takes up 42 acres with an evolving collection of
outdoor works, as well as six indoor
galleries filled with rotating shows.
Schleuning also served an integral role in establishing and working with national and international institutional and creative partners to create and develop
new perspectives, ideas, and possibilities for a series on the High's Piazza of
outdoor interactive installations, increasing community engagement and offering the opportunity to explore how to engage with art outside of the museum
galleries.
But when it's all finished this summer, we'll provide five
gallery spaces, a bookshop, bar and restaurant, an education space, guest house, library and
outdoor spaces including a meadow designed by landscape designer Piet Oudolf [of
