The new imagining of ROBOCOP must be pretty much done if comments made by one its leading actors are to be believed.

Probably timed a bit to the 20th anniversary of the Paul Verhoeven classic, Shout Factory pulls the two sequels to «Robocop» from the vault and dresses them up with new transfers and special features.

I did feel a little let down by the ending however, as what can be seen in the trailers there's a huge fight between Robocop / Murphy and the new up - to - date ED - 209 robots, that whilst CGI filled was actually quite good leading into the final act which unfortunately gave little to no pay - off in the end, with very little impact.

And while all that noise is absolutely enjoyable, some of Robocop «s best scenes are the more quiet ones, such as the moment when Murphy awakens to his new body.

The 2D art that introduced each of the games Bro's and new Enemies all had a lot of love put into them, and as an avid lover of action movies, seeing characters from films ranging from «The Boondocck Saints», «The Terminator», «Leon: The Professional», «Robocop» and more given the Bro treatment always gave me a chuckle, as did the announcer shouting «Let's Go, Bro» at the start of each mission.
