Roku has replaced its entire line - up of streaming gadgets (with the exception of
the new Streaming Stick which launched earlier this year) with new models, some offering 4K with HDR support, and ranging in prices that now start at as low as USD $ 29.99.
The new Streaming Stick costs around $ 50 in the US, making it more expensive than both the Express and Express +, but it has a different remote control that can be used to carry out voice searches, and is a lot more portable.

Roku is hoping for similar success with
its new Streaming Stick, which has a comparable physical footprint and offers over 1,000 entertainment channels for $ 49.99.

Aside from adding 4K HDR support, the Roku
Streaming Stick Plus is designed to have better WiFi range and a
new remote that controls volume and power.
The company just released a slew of
new streaming boxes and
sticks, which means retailers are slashing prices on their older inventories.
The
new Amazon Fire TV
Stick comes in a thumb drive - like design and has an HDMI out to deliver an advanced media
streaming experience.
The Fire TV Box and
Stick connect directly to my home Internet and the TV via HDMI Port, (If your TV is relatively
new, most likely your cable box is using this same cable and port to connect to your TV's) and are used to
stream the TV from Playstation Vue to your TV.
The Roku
Streaming Stick Plus builds upon its popular predecessor from 2016 with some welcome
new features.
And there's a
newer version of the Roku
Streaming Stick at $ 50, which gives you a remote control with voice search, TV power and volume buttons.
Last year's Roku Ultra ($ 65 in some Walmart stores, $ 80 refurbished on Amazon) is also worth passing over in favor of the
new $ 70
Streaming Stick +, which feels just as fast, has the same voice controls, and adds TV volume and power buttons.

new remote feels like a revelation.
Today Roku is introducing
new devices in the Express,
Streaming Stick, and Ultra lines, and though it may not be making sweeping changes to all of them, what's
new is definitely worth a look.
