watches coming to market this year and competition is about to get super fierce.
Out of the three prominent Android Wear hardware manufacturers, only LG launched a
new smartwatch since the turn of the year, the LG
Watch Urbane 2nd Edition LTE.
The
Watch Urbane is now available, and it's been causing quite a stir not only because of the
new version of Android Wear that it's shipping with.
LG created one of the best Android Wear devices of the year with its
Watch Urbane, and now there's a
newer, pricier option in town.
And at the top of the dozen or so Android Wear
watches on sale at the moment is the
new LG
Watch Urbane.
Unlike its counterpart on Android platform, Android Wear for iOS is just designed for
newer smartwatch models that initially includes only the premium LG
Watch Urbane.
On the downside, Android Wear for iOS not only works with
newer smartwatches like the
Watch Urbane or an upcoming Huawei smartwatch but also needs iOS 8.2 running Apple iPhone 5 or above.

new Urbane Watch units on display at LG's event were active - and thus, all we can tell you is that, even though it's smaller than the first edition, this thing is big.
Like the LG V10 smartphone that also unveiled today, LG didn't provide any word on pricing or availability for its
new Urbane Watch, but one would guess it would launch around the same time as the
new flagship.
