She is currently completing a
curatorial fellowship at the Gaylord and Dorothy Donnelley Foundation and her upcoming exhibitions include Roman Susan (Chicago), McCormick Gallery (Chicago), Center for the Book (
New York) and the Hyde Park Art Center (Chicago).
She has participated in a range of exhibitions and
fellowships including: Artist in Residence with The Center for AfroFuturist Studies in Iowa City, and the Stony Island Arts Bank (2016);
Curatorial Fellow with ICI's
Curatorial Intensive in
New Orleans (2017); and Artist Resident at Camargo Foundation (2018).
She has been the beneficiary of several grants and
fellowships, including
New York Foundation for the Arts (NYFA) in 2008 and 2015, Artadia, and Pollock - Krasner, and has attended residencies at MacDowell Colony, Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture, International Studio and
Curatorial Program, and Chateau La Napoule.
Rice served as the Chief Curator at the IAIA Museum of Contemporary Native Arts in Santa Fe,
New Mexico, and also held
curatorial positions at the Aboriginal Art Centre (Ottawa, ON), named
curatorial fellowships with the Art Gallery of Greater Victoria (Victoria, BC) and the Walter Phillips Gallery (Banff, AB), and Aboriginal Curator - In - Residence at the Carleton University Art Gallery.
Grokhovsky holds an MFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and a BFA from Victorian College of the Arts, Australia and is a recipient of numerous
fellowships, residencies and awards including BRIC Media Arts Fellowship (2015), VOX Populi AUX

Made possible by a
curatorial fellowship grant from the Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts, the convening was hosted by the Walker's Artistic Director Fionn Meade and Director and Senior Curator of Performing Arts Philip Bither, who invited a group of curators, programmers, artists, and producers to address the following:
new models of performance curating that have arisen within and outside of the museum setting; evolving standards for collecting and archiving performance and live arts; challenges faced and learning opportunities in producing, commissioning, and acquiring performance - based art and its differing approaches to audience; and shared efforts toward artist advocacy and agency in the context of curating performance across stage, gallery, and emerging platforms.
