Not only have we failed to produce
new games of this ilk, we've closed down some of the previous genre stalwarts; games like Wipeout and Extreme - G are not even memories for most of us at this point.

Organ Trail is probably the most popular
of this
new wave
of games, undoubtedly helped by its clever title, but it's not the only title
of its
ilk.
As with a lot
of games of this
ilk, these newfound abilities allow you to visit previous levels to discover
new areas, except here there seems little point, other than to find yet more enemies to kill.
Fans
of the genre that grew up with the NES and SNES
games of its
ilk will feel instantly at home, while fresh features like the freedom to flit between vocations or play dress - up bring the simplicity
of turn - based RPG action to a whole
new audience; one that may not perhaps appreciate its majesty in a field they join late, but a
new audience all the same.
