As I mentioned earlier, I have been preparing for this
holiday baking season for an entire year — and couldn't be more genuinely psyched to finally share these three
new cookie recipes with you here today.
We each bought a
new Christmas tree ornament every year, we each bought every other person in our family a gift, we had the same Christmas brunch menu every year, we always drove through the Christmas lights display in the neighboring town, and we always
baked a huge amount of Christmas cookies near the beginning of December to eat through the
holiday season and beyond.
It quickly became associated with
holidays such as
New Year's — she would spend the eve
baking loaves that she loved to serve with a salty ham and slivers of sharp cheese when the family would come over on
New Year's Day.
All the spices were
new, because of the
holidays, It smelled heavenly
baking.
When it comes to
holiday baking, I enjoy trying
new recipes, but I also like to have some go - to recipes.

If you're a regular here at Amy's Healthy
Baking, you'll know that I already make healthy goodies all year round, but in honor of
New Year's Resolutions and improving our diets after the
holidays (I definitely ate a few too many cookies and pieces of fudge!)
The
holiday spirit shows everywhere in the park from the parade, three live shows,
new second trackless Furry Express train and
new Gingerbread Cookie Factory tour with the Twiddlebugs as they
bake their famous chocolate gingerbread cookies.
I can't wait to jump back in with some fresh

I haven't been fan of Halloween before but since my daughter grew up a little bit, all of the
holidays, including Halloween got a whole
new feel and now I'm as excited as she is I've bought some small house decor and will
bake a special Halloween cupcakes next week.
Every year customers seek out books on dieting & exercise in January (
New Year's resolutions), cookies in December (
holiday baking season), books by black authors in February for school projects (Black History Month)-- we use curated collections to gather these books up to make it easy for our customers to find what they are looking for.
While previously dismissed by analysts as a relatively stolid niche market, the popularity of e-readers during the 2009
holiday season - combined with the high - profile release of the Apple iPad, which features a
baked - in e-reader-has led to something of an arms race between competing products: as soon as one device undergoes a software or hardware update, it seems, the others feel duty - bound to introduce a
new feature of their own.
Now just three weeks away, I have yet to mail the invitations, finalize my schedule of hostesses, firm up my menu (plus buy ingredients, prep recipes, and schedule
baking days), conceptualize window displays and
new holiday displays and how to zhuzh all the everyday displays in order to accomodate
new seasonal merch and
new everyday merch, plus figure out what the heck I'm going to wear!
Now, I also thought about how having a whole
new renovated kitchen is what I really * need *, but I'll settle for a stocked pantry in preparation for my upcoming
holiday baking and cooking!
I haven't done much
holiday baking this December but did find a
new cookie for Santa to sample, Bourbon - Pecan - Gingerbread Cookies!
