Dinner was nothing
new — and I messed part of it up too (which I'm blaming on rushing and not
measuring anything — she has no
measuring spoons and I forgot to bring them).
I've been wanting a
new spice grater and I love this one from KitchenIQ because it grates into a handy compartment that you can easily scoop your
measuring spoons (or your Levoons, if you will) into rather than all over the counter (which is what I normally do).
Perhaps my
new years resolution will be to bring
measuring cups and
spoons to the bulk aisle from now on...
I know it doesn't seem like a huge change to make if you're used to it, but it can be hard to switch over to
measuring in a whole
new way and it can be tough to make sure the measurements are exact in grams / ounces (at least in my experience — for instance I keep having to
spoon out extra flour out of the bowl if I added too much... it definitely takes a learning curve to be precise).
and taking photos of food for posts, and thinking, «ooooh I need
new and cuter
measuring cups and
spoons and serving bowls and mixing bowls and casserole dishes, and and and!»
