Showcasing paintings and drawings spanning from 1992 to 2017 and demonstrating the singular ambition and dynamism of Saville's work, this exhibition spans five rooms of the Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art and places the artist alongside major new works, installations and photography from five other artists preoccupied with the body, performance, process and materiality: Sara Barker, Christine Borland, Robin Rhode, Markus Schinwald, Catherine Street, and others.

American audiences are familiar with conventional notions of Tibetan art, but will have the opportunity to experience the vibrant new representational narrative painting and mixed media installations coming out of Tibet's contemporary art community.

Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama's new exhibit, aptly named In Infinity, will showcase her life's work — including painting, sculpture, performance art, film, and installation art.

The artists participating at the Grundy Art Gallery are Allison Katz, who displays a trilogy of works comprising painting, sculpture and print; Amy Stephens, whose practice centres on reclaiming objects and images from the native landscape; Ruth Beale with new large - scale works on paper, drawing on the British tradition of satire to critique current events; and Rebecca Birch, who brings an interactive installation investigating the politics of surface.

In the fall of 2010, the Asia Society presented Yoshitomo Nara: Nobody's Fool, the first major New York exhibition of his work, featuring more than one hundred works spanning from his early career in the 1980s to his most recent paintings, drawings, sculptures, ceramics, and large - scale installations.

Artists working in all mediums (including — but not limited to — video and film, new media, installation, painting, social practice, sculpture and performance), as well as curators, are encouraged to submit exhibition proposals.

The show, curated by Beth Giacummo, presents interpretations of structures found in everyday lives resulting in new forms expressed through painting, drawing, installation and mixed media.
