During this year's South by Southwest, SEGA teased a number of
new announcements, including a
new Sonic
racing game.
The
announcement of a
new game in the Grid
racing series appears set for Tuesday, according to a teaser video posted by the
game's YouTube account.
For
racing game fans there wasn't much actually at the show to get excited about in terms of news — however, the
announcement of the inevitable Forza Horizon 3 and it's trip down under to Australia did excite fans with it's
new locale, vehicles and weather effects.
You probably didn't expect a video
game announcement to come from the show, however, but that's what Microsoft has done, revealing that a
new title in its flagship
racing series Forza is on the way, with Lamborghini's Centenario to be the cover car.
Along with the
announcement of the
games release came some small details on a brand
new feature being introduced to the series called the Young Driver Test: «Players will be introduced to the world of FORMULA ONE through a range of tutorials explaining how to handle
racing's most exciting and responsive cars, and challenged to earn a drive from a team for the 2012 FIA FORMULA ONE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP» the press release happily proclaimed.
