Here is
the new stretching routine that will change your life in 20 minutes.
The first is
a new stretching routine I put together for Jessica, one of my newsletter readers.

Such a
routine will not work for all of us, but the point is to have a
routine, and to know when your best writing and thinking hours are, and in the other hours, do things that both stimulate and
stretch the brain in
new and creative directions.
As a result, my
new daughter was on a fairly predictable
routine by 1 month and by 9 weeks was giving me 8 hour
stretches of sleep at night.
Or if your bedtime
routine involves your child repeatedly getting up and out of bed,
stretches out to an hour, and leaves you frustrated and your child tired the next morning, then you likely need a
new way to help your child go to bed.
Sleep disturbance is one of the biggest changes for
new parents and it can be difficult to adapt to a
new routine, which doesn't feature regular
stretches of undisturbed sleep.
And while you might have found a specific
routine that works for you,
stretching your boundaries with something
new can fill you with pulse - pounding adrenaline, challenge your skill set, and give you another reason to make it to the gym every day.
The
new recommendation is that static
stretching be used after a workout, or alone as their own
routine.
The period of adjustment and creation of a
new routine can
stretch beyond the normal 6 to 12 weeks.
