New York and dreaming of that Miami sunshine.
I
knit this hat for James in it, and now that I have been wearing my
new cardigan regularly for weeks I can tell you that it is
warm and cozy and goes with everything and brings me so much joy to wear.
I paired one of my
warmest winter
knits and my fave furry hat with my
new Citizens Of Humanity SS15 pair of white denim and my pretty sailor - themed UGGs.
I think this stems from my Mum's love of
knitting, as a kid I was able to pick a pattern and balls of wool each year (several times) and within a matter of weeks I had a
new jumper to keep
warm in.
The weather
warmed up last week and I got to take these chic
knits our for a spin in Battery Park City in
New York.
While fall's winds make you want to wrap up

knits and give in to a winter laze, the jewelry pieces in vogue are breaking all inertia thanks to their
new, bold forms.
I layered my look with
warm knits from 525 America, cropped thick denim from Joes's Jeans, and my
new insanely comfy Italian shoes from Sentiero (on Maiden Lane in SF.)
However, to escape from this weather and to forget about my
warm boots and woolen
knits for a second, I was caught daydreaming about summer dresses, big flappy hats and the
new bag trends that I saw in the
new Spring / Summer 2016 collections that were shown in the fashion capitals...
As evidenced by Wednesday's post, I was quick to embrace wearing my cozy
knits and
warm layers — this striped sweater is another
new favorite that I just picked up.
My
new checked shirt is super soft, it almost feels like one of those you can sleep in, and the chunky
knit keeps me perfectly
warm.
