My next book comes out in a few weeks and I'm going a different formatting route (perhaps — in discussions with a house) and some cool options are around with regard to formatting now (discussion links, videos, etc) so I'm exploring that.
When an author releases 1 book every 3 months, they will probably see a boost in sales for about a month and a half to two months after each new release, then there will be a dip for that last month or so before
the next book comes out.
