The owners are super friendly and they make all the burgers from scratch and told us they specifically aim to serve
nice big portions (yaaaas).

In this version it has been miniaturized so that you don't end up making one
big loaf, but rather individual - sized
portions so that everyone gets a
nice outer crust, and it avoids the problem of soggy or crustless middle section pieces.
Because the wrap is fastened only to the middle
portion of the waistband, you can easily bunch the fabric in to get a smaller seat for a smaller toddler, or spread it out
nice and wide to get a good wide seat for your
bigger child.
I'm case anyone is interested these can easily be made in advance (in fact they're even
nicer the next day) and also freeze well - we enjoyed them so much I made another
big batch and froze them in individual
portions for easy healthy lunches.
I would eat a smaller
portion and serve it with a tiny bit of brown rice and a
nice big salad to stay on track with my meal plan.
It's
nice to play around with the plating and see if you can make the zucchetti look fancy, but to be honest, most of the time I make myself a messy
big big bowl (never skimp on the toppings) and enjoy it without the notion of
portion control.
