In a city it's
nice to be
dress ed but not overdo it in summer, needs to feel
comfy as well.
This past weekend I wore this fun bell - sleeved
dress from Avenue with these gorgeous and oh - so comfortable over the knee boots and felt festive while also being
comfy (if you've been visiting SGSB for awhile now — thank you — but you also probably know that I love wearing flat - er shoes because when my feet hurt, I become a not - so -
nice person).
You could even wear a
nice pair of Nikes or Keds with a classic shift
dress to work if your workplace isn't super strict about that sort of thing — or if they are, you can at least look good and feel
comfy wearing them on your commute.
You really can't have enough easy,
nice dresses or
comfy, neutral heels for occasions like this so I suggest having a few versions of this outfit if you've got as many showers and weddings coming up this year as I do!
Their maxi
dresses are so
comfy and reasonable (more on that next week and proof to back up my words) and
nicer than some i bought for a damn site more in various stores last summer.
But I think what I really wanted was a
nice,
comfy dress that needed very little accessorizing but still looked professional.
Today is the first day I gave myself a few hours to stroll around and I knew I wanted something
comfy but far from being boring, and although my first option in winter are pants, the weather has been so
nice and warm lately that I was able to wear a
dress without tights underneath.
Nothing fancy; just a
nice throw me on and run out the door Spring
comfy dress.
Love the
dress, it does look like a
nice comfy one, and perfect with the simple sandals.
