While we weren't expecting ports of older
games, it would be
nice to get confirmation that future Rockstar releases will
show up
on Wii U.
games are created, crafted, designed, coded, scripted and entirely build
on pc and then PORTED to console even console exculsives are made
on a gaming rig, then shrunk down to work
on consoles, thats why devs always have those
nice screenshots to
show you months before release and then the
game comes out
on console and looks nothing like the up - rezzed, highly anti aliasied screens of the pc shots they
showed that is why, when there is a pc version, it is always far superior sleeping dogs and hitman absolution are perfect examples, the pc versions look two generations beyond the console versions
It's a simple
game that delights in letting you put
on a lineup of absurd programs which mock real - life, and yet there's still a
nice layer of strategy in knowing when you to swap out
shows in your line - up.
Artist John Montenegro was
nice enough to
show us some of the work he did
on the MK HD Arcade Collection prior to the
game being killed by WB Games.
There're plenty of
nice touches to be seen in both the character and the environmental design, whilst the whole Japan / samurai theme that the
game is based upon is cleverly conveyed through everything that's
on show.
I was able to use an app i'm beta testing to get this
game to
show up
on the android tv leanback launcher with a
nice looking banner.
While having a
nice chit chat we were
shown a big blue sofa with consoles where
on Fridays studio members play
games not only for entertainment but also for research purposes.
Controls are also
nice and tight; this is one
game that showcases just how accurate the PlayStation Vita's dual analog sticks, and also
shows you how ridiculously inaccurate it was to play
on the PlayStation Portable.
The Tokyo
Game Show came with much more news for mobile gaming than we thought it would which is always
nice and among the news was Sony's announcement of the Playstation Suite SDK for developing
games for Playstation Certified devices and a more vague announcement of a push for content
on those devices.
It
shows a
nice screenshot of selected
game along with the cover art, as well as a general price range of what you should expect to pay
on average for a
game.
In the latest promo video (
shown below) the
game looks very
nice indeed but after winkysoft's recent demise, this announcement is somewhat bittersweet as they were the original developer behind these
games and helped out
on recent OG titles as well.
