like is how the desk hardware stands out against the new paint job — it looks really
nice.
We wanted to make things completely simple and intuitive: you always subscribe with the latest issue (but can buy back issues), the library and store page are combined, the current issue is displayed
nice and big, your notification settings are upfront and clear... It's the combination of hundreds of
little details like these that result in a smooth user experience.
It's very small things
like that, but it's
nice to get those
little details in to make the mystery unfold a with a
little more planning.
It's a
little different on how you select what you would
like to play nowadays, instead of just a menu you now have Headquarters which is an interactive hub where you can select everything, for instance, if you go over to Major Howard you can select your daily / weekly orders upon completing these you will receive supply crates, armory credits or an XP bonus, you can also check your mail for any collectables that have dropped or go to the quartermaster to spend / purchase your CoD points along with spending your armory credits on contracts etc on top of this you have multiple other areas to visit such as training areas and prestige, I'm not going to go into too much
detail, it's a
nice touch keeping things more interactive instead of a boring menu we used to have back in the day.
It's got cool character designs, definitely cool maze layouts with some very
nice details such as background animations, flame effects, and it always seems
like there is something moving on the screen which again is a great
little addition as it really gives the whole game a sense of life.
As others have commented, very good article, I would say you put in a
