While the 118i is impressively quiet — and Comfort mode is a nice fit with the car's carefully damped - down noise, vibration and harshness — there's enough vigour and character in the engine, when switched to Sport mode, to match the little BMW's excellent steering and ride / handling balance.

Being a sport model, a little more power from the 2.5 - liter four - cylinder engine would have been nice, but it's not necessarry.

3/7/2018: It's been since Dec. 2014 when I bought this Tundra new and its been awesome, it rides nice in any weather condition especially snow, has never failed us in any mechanical, technical or reliability issue, I can't say anything negative about the truck aside maybe the gas mileage but what 5.7 L V8 engine doesn't drink a little gas, I'd sacrifice a little gas mileage over raw horsepower any day!

Turbo - charging gives Saab engines nice performance, though there's still a little lag between pushing the pedal and experiencing that added push.
