You can never, ever go wrong with cookies I'm not huge on using
protein powders either, but they definitely add a
nice touch to certain recipes, and it helps when they're made with
natural ingredients and no pesky chemical additives.
The frozen blueberries pair beautifully with the cacao
powder, the flax seeds thicken the smoothie and add a
nice, nutty flavor (plus
protein / fiber), and there's a little bit of maca
powder for a
natural boost in energy (just don't add too much or it will taste grassy).
