I've been doing a lot of day game recently, simply because I wanted a change from the whole
night game thing.

I have been sleeping horribly all week and then last
night a magical
thing called the Snoogle came into my life and was a serious
game changer.
You don't have to be a sports nut to make this chilli but I do think it is the perfect
thing to eat while watching the Friday
night game.
While a lot of Arsenal fans may be feeling that Arsene Wenger and the players have missed a trick by failing to win our away
game at Bournemouth in order to capitalise on the very welcome defeat of the current Premier League leaders Chelsea last
night, I look at
things a different way.
The
game is also massive for Mauricio Pochettino and his men because the way
things are going for them so far, including the 3 - 1 defeat of Aston Villa last
night and the struggles of Chelsea, it is looking like they could finally make a decent go of getting into the Champions League next season.
And here's the
thing: This team that you're making all these sacrifices for — this team for which you are giving up your body, your Friday
nights, your hair — this team hasn't won a
game in 16 years.
They dominated for the 2nd time this Season on Wednesday
Night and it makes you think that if they can make a run similar to last year's # 10 Seed and get to the Championship Flag Football
game they can win the whole
thing.
If you only look at the Standings and Weekly Results once a week you'd never know it, but for anyone that is present to see
games every Wednesday
Night would say the same
thing.
So...... about tonight's
game; Arsenal: hapless, hopeless City: dominant, confident BUT, there's a
thing both teams have in common; their respective performances is a true reflection of their manager's abilities... For anyone to still want wenger at arsenal, that person has to really hate arsenal, be a troll, or a consummate idiot (I feel sorry to say this)...... If only Stan would text him his sack letter this
night... (he should send it at least twice, along with two emails too.....
I'll be doing Easter stuff and when
things settle down I can watch the
game at
night.
The only
thing I ever had the
night before a
game was a glass of wine at dinner if we were on the road and we'd gone to an Italian restaurant.
No team goes through the season winning every
game, and we all know that anyone in the Premiership can beat any other opponent if
things go their way on the

thing I want to add, really gutted last
night seeing Shaw having his leg broken during the
game.
It's safe to say
things weren't the same on Tuesday

night is hugely important and I would expect to get all three points as well, even without our Chilean striker Alexis Sanchez, but there is one
thing that worries me and that is the Algerian attacking star of the Foxes, Riyad Mahrez.

We celebrated

As this was a
night game we were travelling in rush hour traffic which didn't help
things so I imagine for weekend
games it wouldn't be as bad.

So tonight was not the
night to switch
things up so radically, especially with Theo in the team, who for long periods of time (even in his good
games) makes it look like we're playing with one fewer player on the pitch.
We are less fit, we make less sprints, we cover less ground per player than (this season) any other team in the league, we make more errors to leading to goals, we have more players booked and sent off, we have more injuries than most clubs, we are less likely (since Payet) to do as we did last
night and come from a losing position to win, we lose more

things together and realise that the manager and or the coaching staff are the problem.
It sure would have been nice to see Juventus go into Wednesday

game against Spurs with plenty of wind in their sails that have us feeling good about
things.
Earlier in the season, I would have laughed at the suggestion that Joel Campbell might get picked ahead of Theo Walcott for an important Premier League
game, but it seemed like the right
thing to do on Tuesday
night.
With regard to your winners, dangerous to base conclusions on a few
games but last
night perhaps paints
things in a different light.
Make each coupon good for
things like no chores for the day, family trip for ice cream, stay up 30 minutes past bedtime, movie outing and movie of your choice, a special outing with mom or dad,
game night or extra 30 minutes of screen time.
